Most reviews just review the fit/look, but these shoes don't last! *by A***H on November 4, 2018* I really liked the design and the look of these shoes. But within about a month and a half they were falling apart.The stitching began coming loose all around the shoe, but especially in the back. And, arguably even worse, the sole began to fissure, and several large chunks of it have been coming out steady over the last month of so of ownership (Month 2.5 -3). Now this all might be somewhat acceptable if I had worn these shoes while sprinting in the rain regularly, but that's not the case at all. These were my work shoes for my desk job during the day. They couldn't even last one month of walking to and from my car to the office where I sit most of my days.Do not buy these, take it from me! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I like to call these my "Chukka Norris's" because they are pretty awesome. *by M***R on July 7, 2018* I've never been a person who likes to go out of their shoe comfort zone. It's usually just a pair of Adidas Campus sneakers and a jeans. Hey, I'm a simple guy, what can I say?Well, my wife was watching Queer Eye on Netflix one day (more like binge watching) and she kept seeing them tell every guy that they needed to have a chukka desert boots in their closet as they go with almost anything. She mentioned it to me and showed me a pair that were almost $200! I told her I was good and I didn't want to spend that much money on a shoe I would probably never wear. However, I was curious to see if Amazon had them for cheaper a quick search and a few clicks later I had purchased these shoes. I'm always wary about buying shoes on the Internet because different brands and styles can be different sizes. However after reading the reviews I decided to go with and 11 as they are the same size as the Johnston and Murphy shoes that I have, but only wear with the one suite I have.When the shoes came in, I tried them on and I was instantly happy I purchased these shoes. The shoes fit true to size and are actually extremely comfortable. A good rule of thumb for choosing your size is to look at the size of a pair of dress shoes you own and order that size.I will say that there isn't much arch support but if you're flat footed like me, that's definitely a win then. If you have high arches, then you may want to purchase an insole.The shoes look great and I wear them to work all the time. I work at a college and am constantly walking across campus. These shoes stand up to the challenge so don't let the price fool you and make you think that they are going to fall apart in a day. They won't. Overall, a very good shoe. I suggest if you want to prolong her life even longer, invest in a waterproofing spray and a suede cleaning kit.If you're looking for a good shoe at a great price, these are the ones for you!Enjoy! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT QUALITY *by J***E on February 2, 2018* I have to say that I didn't have high hopes for these shoes. I bought them at the last minute for my son's school dance as we searched about 10 stores looking for a pair like this. I finally looked on Amazon and found this pair at a low cost and I could have them next day in time for the dance. Now, my son is the pickiest little turd when it comes to clothes. He thinks we are celebrities or that he is really the child of Elan Musk or something and must have been switched at birth because he only likes Yeezy's, Gucci, etc because he's a 13 year old douche. NO, it's not my fault. My other 2 older boys and exemplary young men. This one was born like this. I swear at 3 years old he was already so very EXTRA. I love him dearly though which is why I went to 10 stores looking for these damned shoes for him the night before the dance. Yep...I know I'm an enabler. Get over it and move on with the review. So I KNEW that if these shoes looked cheap, he wasn't going to wear them. Fortunately, they were very nice so that he DID wear them and I didn't have to rip his head off his his almost pubescent body. They looked great on him. They're a little big which is fine since he's growing so I can probably get another 6 months use out of them.
