Weston30-0015-W Vacuum Sealer Bags, 15" x 50'

I wanted to buy a vacuum machine for my husband for a long time & found one I really liked here on Amazon. We did a little math & decided that it was time to get serious and buy a really good one like the $100 +/- range products would work for a few years and then we would wind up replacing them. We found a really fantastic machine which works beautifully but we had trouble finding good, sturdy bags for it at a reasonable price, that is until we found these. They are reasonably priced, are delivered quickly and the quality is first-rate. You couldn't ask for more & with the number of items my husband vacuum seals (I think he just enjoys doing it....LOL!) we really save a good amount of money. I like to make Sunday my cooking day and I will make several meals and have my husband seal them and they add up quickly. Now on nights, I don't feel like cooking I just go to the freezer and pull out something I made and heat it up. Best TV dinners in the world and Weston has the right size bags for anything from baby food to storing clothes for one season to the next to make space. Best little gadget I've found in a long time.

I like these bags. They are thick, resist punctures, seal tight and when properly used have never experienced a seal failure.These are great for packing longbones to freeze for future use. I will continue buying and using these bags.

While the Weston Vacuum Sealer is expensive it is worth every penny. We have used it for 9 months and find it indispensible. It is built like a tank and seals food for good. Never had a seal fail. I have used cheaper vacuum sealers and the price of their bags are terrible. The cheaper ones were exactly that cheap and functioned poorly. Difficult to use and often did not seal well. The Weston forms a positive seal and pulls a very hard vacuum. Please don't waste your money on the cheaper models. There is nothing I can say bad about the product. Also I have found Amazon the best place to buy Weston Vacuum Sealer bags.

Big freezer bag capable of holding nearly 7pound chicken.There was no risk of puncturing the plastic when we vacuum sealed some frozen item with sharp edges. Definitely commercial grade.But because its a thicker plastic, care must be used to make sure there is no wrinkle in the plastic where the seal is made. If you don't, you will lose the vacuum. This is true for all vacuum bags. So no fault of this product.We use to vacuum seal our farm processed whole chicken and vacuum sealed. Product has yet to fail with puncture or pinhole sized hole. Well worth every penny.

The vacuum sealer melts right through the bags; creating holes etc rendering this product useless.

Bought these to go with a Weston wide lid vacuum sealer. Difficult to find bags over 11" wide and these are great for larger items. These bags are fantastic! We enter a lot of barbecue contests throughout the year, so we use these to package up our leftovers. They also work great to sous vide the meats back to temp. Occasionally we get one that won't seal, but far fewer than we experienced with the Food Saver brand bags.
