Simple, effective, genius! I would almost say the cost was a bit high.. but genius ain't cheap! I think my only issue would be the sizing? I measured my finger and ordered the size specified. The splint was too big to wear like that on my naked finger. I've created sleeves to wear with the splints and everything works great.. maybe that's the way they are intended to be worn? Either way.. these are great! I've been been able to continue working and doing what I was doing before without the fear of my finger locking up in the "trigger" position, doing more damage and causing that intense pain.

Trigger thumb was making it impossible for me to type, which was a problem because I write for a living. A large and clumsy wrap-around neoprene brace worked for preventing trigger contractions but made it impossible to type. The brace covered my thumb entirely, which meant I couldn't feel it or direct it with any accuracy, leading to all kinds of gibberish on the page and keyboard contortions that launched new windows out of the blue, etc. Then I found this little guy. Not only does it fit on my thumb, but I can slide it ever so slightly toward my palm so it's out of the way of the spot where my thumb makes contact with the space bar. Now I can type all day without creating havoc, and that trigger thumb never triggers. Mission accomplished for a great price. Not recommended for lifting heavy objects as the lightweight plastic brace might break under the strain of pressing heavily onto an immobile object. And that would be bad. But this is perfect for me and such an improvement over the wrap-around brace.

The seller should allow the customer to pick the three sizes. Some people said it runs small but only the smallest in this pack works for me, which was my measured size. It still has some give. I would like to see if one size smaller is better, but now that's another purchase. Otherwise, this thing is genius. It's comfortable and easy to wash. I can still type and work normally. My thumb tip naturally goes way back and when the trigger is active, it occurs all day and the pain gets worse every day. This prevents the most of the pull and the resulting click. My suggestion is that if you measure at either end of the three sizes, only buy the one that measures to your size. Then you can see if you want a second one smaller or bigger. Anecdote: After wrapping a clothespin against my thumb at night for relief, I was desperate for something suitable to wear to work. So I ordered the three fearing that If I only ordered 1, it wouldn't fit and I would need to wait for another delivery. Don't fall into that trap.

Let me say right off, if these fit my smaller hands, I'd give it 5 stars across the board! Lightweight, sturdy, get your hand dirty, wet, soapy without a problem. My right middle trigger finger also has an arthritic proximal interphalangeal joint/knuckle. I need a brace/splint large enough to accommodate the the arthritic joint, size 11 or 12, but the EZ Finger Sprint is too long for my shorter fingers. A smaller size, which is a shorter, won't fit the knuckle. I'm sorry to have to return them.

Effective for stabilizing my trigger thumb. This product is identical to the original Oval-8 and 1/4th the price. I have both, and the only difference I see is the color of the plastic is a different shade. Fit and effectiveness is the same.

We ordered what we thought was the correct size for my husband & it was way too big. There was nothing to show a size chart or give any idea what size to get. We sent it back and ordered a different size that was still too big. We wrapped medical tape around it to try to get it to fit. No matter how much tape we wrapped around it, it would not hold the end of his finger up.

These finger splints really help relieve pain in my arthritic fingers. One finger is really crooked sideways, and using the splint eases the bone-on-bone grinding by holding the joint a bit straighter. The set of three sizes is very handy, because some days my hands are more swollen than other days so I have to use a different size. The best part is that I can get my hands wet or dirty while wearing the splint, and the splint simply rinses off, good as new. Wish I had found these a couple years ago when my arthritis first started getting bad.
