Upon removing it from the packaging, we noted a definite lack of quality...certainly not up to what we'd expected. And upon the first washing, our fears were confirmed: many threads came loose, and the bedspread seemed to lose shape and body...for lack of proper terminology. Having lived in Asia for several years, it reminded us of the sort goods one routinely finds at street vendors. The old adage remains largely true: You get what you pay for. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because it was too long for our full sized bed even though it was advertised as full/ queen. It actually dragged on the ground, so we used pins to make the sides shorter since I liked it so much in the room. The bed is on the low side, so if you had a higher full or a queen sized bed, I’m sure it would work better. Also, in the picture the background looks pretty gray, but it is actually white. It washed well. I first saw this advertised on Wayfair ON SALE for 90$ and thought "No fricken way, that's a ridiculous price..." When I saw it here for 40$ I thought it was too good to be true!!! Bought it without hesitation and am very much disappointed. The quilt on my bed for the longest time was a Walmart quilt. Looovvveeeee it but needed a change. My Walmart quilt is at least three times the thickness of this one. I'm so bummed....but hate being burdened with returning items. I'll use this on top of my heated blanket.
