Easy to use
Brought this for my mother in law sheโs in her 80s , she finds it ok to use. The sos ๐ call is a great reassurance for her & the family & it does work as she has called by mistake on many occasions lol ๐ I would recommend this for anyone as it is very easy to use . The ๐ is the main reason we purchased the phone & I works well .

Seniors mobile phone
I wanted a very basic extremely simple to use mobile phone for my husband, purely for safety reasons and my peace of mind. My husband is really anti mobile phones and has refused to have one. However, at the age of 79 he can see the sense in him having one when he goes out alone. Be it driving or walking. I researched a lot on line looking for what I wanted. I chose this because it has 3 memory buttons on the front. I have programmed our home number, my mobile number and our daughters mobile number in these 3 keys. This means if he wants to contact me he only has to push 1 key. He is not computer literate in any shape or form. The other good feature is that it has an sos button on the back. You can programme 5 numbers in here. If pushed it emits a sound then rings the first number in its list. If there is no reply it will ring the next number, and so on until it gets a reply. At the same time it sends a text message to all of these numbers. I don't know how long the battery lasts as he has not been out to test it. It is the most basic of phones. It is not touch screen, in fact it is very similar to the first Nokia phones. It is very plastic and feels cheap, which it is, but it is very suitable for the purpose it was brought for. I would recommend it to anybody who wants it for the same purpose as me.

Not worth it
Bought it for my dad. Very simple set up and very easy to use... UPDATE stopped working after 4 or 5 weeks. No returns .

on the whole I'm satisfied.
on the whole I'm satisfied. It really isn't as loud as they make it out to be. Even at level 15 it's quiet, but adequately loud, for me and I've just had a hearing test and been told my hearing is normal. There is a earphone jack and earphones provided so that would probably allow people with poorer hearing to manage too. The ringtone and text alert are quite nice and loud, and it vibrates too. There is a manual, printed to adequate size to be able to be read, but it doesn't cover every detail, so takes a wee bit of trial and error to learn to use everything. I like the flip open feature that prevents me dialing out by accident. the buttons, screen and phone are a little larger than the one I used to have - easier to see what you're doing. At first the SOS feature kept going off and the torch kept going on in my pocket but you can disable them when you want to put the phone in a bag or pocket

Simple
Fairly simple to make a voice call but unnecessary convoluted menu. Poor battery life.

So impressed.
I bought this phone for mydad, who recently had a stroke. I set it up for him, which was really easy and quick. It's a fabulous mobile, the big buttons are great, the ring tone is really loud, the sos button is a great idea. He's really made up and that makes me very happy.

Great for elderly
Bought for an elderly friend who is a complete technophobe. He finds this easy to use and for the price it has a basic camera and everything he can manage. Good value for money and it looks quite smart for what it is.

Like the phone
Sim Card nightmare. Far toooo small for most fingers, eyesights. So far useless but will take to local Tech Mobile in Stornoway (younger people in that local shop will fix for me). Will let you know if it's 5 out of 5 for value and simplicity.
