If you are at all a fan of Sushi Go, or any of the chef serving type app games in the footsteps of Diner Dash or Tapper, or fast fun card games like Rummy or Guillotine, this fun family friendly game captures great play mechanics that you will enjoy while creating a play environment flavor that can make you forget about always needing to win just because you will be having fun with the pairing up of the tasty confections of game play. Not to say this has any less tactical or strategic play as classic games like rummy, but the flavor is fun in its own. My girlfriend and I have been playing the digital version of Just Desserts and loved it so much that she wanted the physical game to play with friends. As a gift, it was perfect. she was really happy with it! The game itself is simple but charming, with easy-to-learn mechanics that make it great for casual gaming sessions. The art is cute and adds a fun touch to the overall experience. It’s definitely on the lighter side in terms of complexity, but that’s part of the appeal; it’s a quick and enjoyable game to pull out with friends or family without a steep learning curve.
