Awesome end table, and beautiful! Will buy another soon. I also bought the console table in this style to match. The packaging was immaculate and each piece was perfect. These tables are so well constructed and solid wood, very easy to put together with very nice hardware. The console table is terrific and I am very happy I spent the money on both of these tables. They are perfect!

High quality for price. Large, sturdy, and very pretty. The color is very dark brown, which I love. The photo made me concerned it was going to be too black, but it isn't! Love them. Update: Just over 1 year after purchase, I have to say these have held up okay. I've changed my rating from 5 stars to 4 because they do nick & scratch a little easier than I would like. It isn't SO bad that I find them awful but I am a little disappointed at how it handles every day wear & tear. I've never dropped anything on them so some of the larger indents are a mystery to me. I would probably recommend trying to find some kind of cover - almost like a place mat - to set on top of them to protect the tops.

Love this table!! Its sturdy and the color is rich. The instructions for putting it together were easy to follow and it was simple to assemble.

I purchased two of these tables. They were packaged very well for delivery. I was VERY careful with assembly due some previous comments about how hard they were to put together and that things hadn't fit properly. Thankfully, I had NONE of these challenges. I think paying close attention to each of the parts and following along with the assembly instruction was key. The tables felt a bit shorter and darker than I had thought they would be, but they will suit my needs just fine. For the price, I'm extremely satisfied.

We ordered the square table and the rectangular table. Due to the layout of our living room, it was the best fit to keep our couch centered on the wall without crowding the doorway. It's great because so there is still some balance, even if they're not identical in shape, they are the same height. Both tables were relatively easy to assemble, and the instructions provided were clear and helpful. Drawer Issues: We must have received a newer version of the square table where they fixed the drawer issues other reviewers mentioned. The drawer glides very smoothly on our square table (it's almost too easy to slam it if you're not careful), but the drawer on the rectangular table was so terrible, we would have sent it back, except we no longer had the box. We are dealing with it, but it's terrible to know how great the drawer could have been if it was manufactured properly.

I wasn't expecting a lot from this purchase TBH. I was pleasantly surprised to find the table: - Was well packaged to protect against damage - Was undamaged as a result, with no scratches or dents - Was all made from actual solid pine (not sure about the drawer bottom, but that is hidden and whatever it's made from is strong enough) - Came with good quality mounting/assembly hardware - Included a bag of "Extra" hardware (screws, cams, Allen wrench) - Came with all holes pre-drilled in exactly the right places in the right sizes (sadly rare from other furniture I've assembled!) - Had clear, picture-based instructions The only assembly issue was getting the top on. It's designed so that all the dowels pull the legs together to keep the top assembly tight. You have to push down all four corners at the same time (having two people helps). If this was easier I would have given 5 stars for assembly, as the rest was very easy. Great table for the price IMO.

The end product is beautiful and looks more expensive than it actually costs. Delivery is speedy; packaging is well done; assembly is easy... EXCEPT that the drawer doesn't align after put together. Drawer railings were all preassembled so something went wrong at the manufacturer. We had to undo the railings and determine where the appropriate locations should be and redrill. We finally corrected it after several trial and error... I'm not sure if this is a universal problem or we got a single defect.

Overall, I like this table. I ordered the square end table in dark walnut. The color is exactly what I wanted, it's a very dark brown almost black, like melted dark chocolate, with a semi-gloss sheen. The drawer pull is sturdy with a brushed nickel finish. Pros: -Came packaged very well. No damage. -Love the drawer. (The bottom of the drawer is not wood, it's more of a pressed particle board/heavy duty cardboard, which isn't uncommon.) -Fully assembled it looks nicer than expected. Cons: -Assembly did require patience, though it wasn't difficult. (If you've never assembled anything before, I wouldn't start here though.) -The "solid wood" is pine, which is a soft wood. It's easy to dent/scratch. -It's not heavy. I wouldn't trust it with a baby/toddler who's pulling up to stand, it might tip.

Very nice table and assembly is easy to do. Très belle table ainsi que l'assemblage est facile à faire.

a few minor defects in the wood. certainly not enough to send them back. the instructions were a little more complicated then they needed to be. It was certainly easier to put the second one together.
