CystoPro Capsules for Dogs and Cats, Bladder Health and Immune System Support, Meat-Free Chicken Flavour, 30 Capsules

This product should not be targeted at cats because it is impossible to administer. I wish I had taken notice of the reviews (which I usually do but I was desperate so went ahead and purchased anyway). It is far to big to hide in food and the taste is obviously not palatable because my cat cat got one whiff of the stuff and walked off and my cat will eat anything. A complete waste of money and product. I am sure there have been many complaints about this. You take an expensive risk if you are buying for a cat.

I've bought Protexin cystitis capsules before for my cat Cody who has urinary issues and he readily ate the food I mixed them in. These are comlpletely different. They are huge and the powder inside the capsule is dark, not the same colour as before. I mixed some of the powder with lik e licks yoghurt treat but Cody refused to eat it. The previous capsules that I had from Protexin were much smaller with a cream coloured powder and came in a tub not a foil strip. All in all an expensive waste of money.

Very disappointed. I bought this product as a replacement for another regular order which was currently out of stock. My cat refused point blank to eat his food with this supplement and there was a distinctive bright red as the powder mixed into his food. I suspect the cranberry element is too much for him, ( not a problem in his usual supplement) but it seems I have wasted my money here. It was twice the cost of the usual product too!

I have used a brand of Cystophan from the vets in the past for my cats, this type is totally different. The capsules are 2 maybe 3 times as big and filled with bright red powder. Its impossible to get a cat to swallow the pills as they are simply to large for my cats and they won't eat the food if its mixed in... I can't comment on how effective this treatment as none of it got eaten..

Can't answer what it tasted like as I didn't take them, & my dog can't speak, easy to administer either on there own or in food, the bigger the dog the more tablets you need to give, so check out the dosage before you buy, it may just be cheaper to go to the vet.

I ordered these my maybe 4 or 5 times in total to give it enough time to kick in and unfortunately they made no difference. My 14 year old dog still wants out to pee a few times a night, will squat often when out a walk and dribbles indoors. In my case these didn’t work despite the great reviews from others.

This is for both dogs and cats but my cat would nit touch the food. Definitely misleading and false advertising. Do not buy this for your cat.

I have only given this one star because my cat would not eat his food with this in it. I only ordered it because, at the time, the brand I normally buy was not available. I can only assume that the cranberry was not to his taste.
