NO, it had a very wide mouth that was difficult to control one's drinking flow. Finally, I found the third one (purple)...The Giotto Large Water Bottle with Leakproof flip top! It is perfect! Literally no leakage and NO CAPS!!! It is easy to drink from and the straw make is easy to control guzzle large amounts of water. I bought all three of these on Amazon. I would have saved a lot of money if I had purchased Giotto, to begin with. Easy to clean, wide enough for bottle brushes, and the straw stays put. It's slightly taller than the water bottle I'm replacing. I like that you can remove the strap handle if you dont use it. Also the bite valve is protected from dirt by a cover when not in use unlike my previous bottle.
