Atlas Insulated Rail Joiners for Code 83 Rail, Package of 72

The insulated joiners fit code 83 track perfectly, and are easy to slip on. I've installed them to divide my DCC sections on my HO model railroad. I didn't rate the fun factor, since this is a technical part, and not a Toy, and there is no "Fun" in lifting up installed track to insert insullated rail joiners. There is, however, satisfaction when your DCC system works flawlessly.I've been "playing" with trains for over 65 years, so I have a lot of experience with insulated joiners for block control in the "old" days.

these work. although they are a bit noticeable and have a tight fit. a slimmer profile would be best suited.
