Made from a hyper-evaporative material that retains water while remaining dry to the touch, The Original Chilly Pad is an innovative way to cool down while enduring outdoor heat and/or high levels of physical activity. When wet, the towel begins to evaporate and cool, providing cool, soft comfort to the user. When it stops cooling, simply re-wet the towel in hot or cold water and wring it out. Within minutes, it’s cool again.

Dont put it in the dryer as it gets hard and crunchy when it is dry. Always loosely fold or hang to dry. It isnt flexible when dry, but you don't want it to stay wet if it is stored long term. Thats how you get mold/mildew. When you are ready to ise it, wet it with plain water and it springs back to life and works like new. Ill be buying more. If it is really hot outside and you are going to stay out for a long time, I recommend bringing water to re-wet it as it will dry out as you use it. The evaporation keeps it nice and cool. If it ever feels warm, hold one end and swing it around a couple times and the airflow will cool it down very quickly. Love it so much. Great quality, nice and soft and spongey when wet. Lasts a long time too. Very light weight even when wet.

This thing works better than expected. Get it wet, wring it out, snap it a couple times, and suddenly it feels like someone turned the thermostat down on your neck. Not ice-cold, but consistently cool in a way that actually helps during workouts or outdoor heat. Material stays soft and doesn’t get slimy or gross after use. Cooling effect lasts longer than a regular damp towel and reactivates easily with a little water and air. Lightweight enough to throw in a bag without thinking about it. Looks gimmicky. Performs like it understands thermodynamics better than I do.
