Never used hair color before and this was very easy to apply. I only left it on for half the recommended time because I was nervous, and it still worked great. Covered the gray immediately and looked natural. Big plus: it did NOT stain my skin at all. Next time I’ll use the full time for even better coverage. Already bought a backup.

I have fine, chin length hair. (Cut in a bob). I bought this because I didn't want my hair color to be one, flat color. I brushed this on a few strands at a time to create streaks of brown in my hair, which my hair stylist says is 75% gray :( Just before rinsing it out, I worked it through the rest of my hair. The result was very natural-looking hair. I applied it just before Thanksgiving; I have some leftover to apply again just before Christmas. I think I might stick to Just for Men from now on - instead of using a product made for women. This is easier - and I think it's much cheaper too! (Imagine that!)

Worked pretty well but some of my gray is extremely stubborn! It did not work on those.

I was using a much more expensive dye and it would last about 30 days when the gray would show. This product works better! You will need to still deal with the hair growth and gray showing so not much you can do about that. I have to cut and dye monthly for the best results to avoid new gray hair and old dyed hair.

I'm a woman and use this for my eyebrows - I know, it's 'off-label.' But after trying products made specifically for dyeing eyebrows I gave this a try. There's no mixing and it takes 10-15 minutes. The color lasts lots longer than the eyebrow kits and it takes such a small amount that this package will last for months and months. The other thing is that it washes off your skin easier than the eyebrow kits - they would leave the skin around my eyebrows stained for a day or two. Glad I tried it! Just make sure you shake or knead the tube well before application.

I’ve bought this product, in this color, for YEARS for my eyebrows. ( Natural strawberry blonde here with blonde eyebrows). The color was perfect. Something changed with my last order and now it is MUCH more auburn. It also stains my skin worse than it used to- even if I only leave it on for 10 minutes. (FYI 10 minutes is not long enough for dying my eyebrows, but in fear of making my skin worse I’m taking it off too soon). Huge bummer since I’ve loved this product.

I have used this product before without any issue. This recent purchase, however, caused me to have to go to the salon for a color correction!!! it turned my hair a bright shade of yellow. This was the second time I used this tube and it was not past the expiration date using the directions on the box. My hairstylist had a lot of difficulty removing the color – he said he had never seen any hair color so difficult to remove.

I love these things. I buy them by the boat load. I'm 65 and my hair has never been pointed out as dyed. I also buy the lightest coloring which helps the transition to grey that I keep on the sides of my hairline to enhance realism. It washing out slowly too which helps keep the transition looking real.
