I decided to get serious this year. Introducing Operation Protect Christmas Tree. Phase 1: motion detector that blasts water type substance and makes scary noise when the interlopers come near. Phase 2: Should said assailants attempt to circumvent Phase 1 with an air assault via the window sill, the plastic cones of certain cat paw death will take them out and hurl them back down into the path of Phase 1. So far, the Christmas tree is safe and secure. There are not any presents under it yet though...that will be the true test as those shiny bows and strings are cat heroin. I don't think we could ever reasonably deter her from hopping up when we aren't looking but perhaps if we can deter her from the sill, she will realize there's no point.It was really easy to put it in the window sill and it fits the window here well. Almost like it was made for it. Easy peezy. She will definitely not sit on this. I got the white plastic set.
