Red Kap Men's Snap Front Cotton Coverall, Oversized Fit, Long Sleeve

Far too large and long.... maybe if I was 6 foot tall. Not the best solution for ladies.
The thickness of the fabric is as expected, heavy and thick, but not meant for winter. The color is bright solid white. Says 100% cotton and I will be happy to dye it with plants and turn this into my gardening coverall. However, the buttons feel cheap and not terribly sturdy. Some of the stitching quality is sub-par. Worst of all? The size sent was wrong, and other than the waist it fits entirely wrong. They sent a Long when I ordered a regular and a long for this size is not even an option. The length of the torso is sooooo far off that when I sew/alter it to fit I am figuring at least 4inches plus seam allowance will be removed At the waist in length. I do not have a short torso. This is not a normal issue for me. When I pull up the crotch, to minus the torso length issue, the leg length fits perfectly. I don’t know anyone that would have this sized body. So very odd.

Plenty large enough to wear over clothes
I needed some 100% cotton coveralls to wear while welding. Can't have any polyester in your clothes while welding. So, I decided to give these a try. They arrived with some kind of fabric treatment I didn't much care for. One trip through the washer and it was gone. They close via metal snaps. No zippers, buttons, or velcro. The way they are cut, they are easy for even an old, mobility impaired guy like me to get on by myself. They fit over summer clothes fine. When I was done, they came off just as easily as they went on. I could move perfectly fine with them on. No restriction at all to any movement. I wore a leather welding jacket so these overalls didn't get full of small burns from welding splatter.Overall, if you need 100% cotton coveralls these work fine. I would order your regular chest size. That's what I did and they fit fine. They are pre-shrunk, so wash and dry as needed.

Handsome, Deep, and Sturdy
This was a good coverall. Unfortunately I missed judged my own size and it was too large for me and my purpose. I think the size chart is probably more true to it's measurements of this garment than what I imagined it to be --if that makes sense. This coverall is 100% cotton and a thick grade weave. If you are thinking about summer wear, it may be too hot unless you work in air conditioning or going to wear your birthday suit under it. Perfect for cooler and cold weather wear however. Sturdy construction, the blue (which I ordered) was deep and strong. The snaps work well and seem sturdy. I can see how this coverall would become more supple and softer over time with washing and drying. I can also see how the right size would make a handsome fit for someone as the fabric would mold to the bends and angles of the body well. This is a well made product and I would consider it again --only order in my correct size.

Thicker material probably not going to wear it in summer months
This is a quality garment. The fit was just as I expected. I did my own hemming on the legs . The cotton material weave is strong and dense. I’ve never seen overalls with this quality and thickness of material before. Good sturdy reinforcements in the waist, sleeves, and button panels. Just had one minor issue on one sleeve button clasp, it would not stay closed but I would wear this open or rolled up anyways. Looks like a throwback to a scene from a 1930’s era film. I did not get snagged when working under my truck on a dolly. Easy to flex when squatting or reaching for things under the hood. Washes easily on normal warm cycle. Did not leave much lint in the dryer. I totally recommend this.

Fits a small person
I admit I don’t understand the sizing. I am 5 feet 3 inches and I wear a small in women’s clothes, and the 36 Regular is only a little big which make it easy for me to move in. It is heavy material—warm. The color is a little darker than the photo.

Size 40 fits him actually perfect, but if you like it a little more ...
My husband does a lot of work on and around our house. He needed a quality working overall, which covers his whole body. We ordered the overall from Red Kap. He is 5’11’’ and around 165 lbs. Size 40 fits him actually perfect, but if you like it a little more airy, choose a size above. The quality is pretty good and so far no damages or cuts. The material is quite thick, but doesn’t feel heavy while wearing it. Because of the thickness it protects the skin quite well.We ordered a white one, because we can bleach it and sanitize it better.

Overall very happy with purchase
This dyed yellow for my MST3K costume well, however the stitching appears to be some kind of plastic as the stitching did not dye at all. Not a big deal. Overall very happy with purchase.
