FP Loose Sheet, Letter Size (8.5 x 11), 100 Sheets/Pack, White (TMR-LTP-W)

PROSVery smooth, but still usable for all pen types or a pencil. I did not have any issues writing with a ball point pen as some other reviewer have complained.Slightly translucent: if laying a sheet of this paper over a lined pad, easy to see the lines the sheet, even the lines that are very thin and off-black.No feathering or bleed-through.Good for inks with a sheen. It is the only writing paper on which I could see the greenish sheen of Lamy Crystal Azurite ink.CONSSlightly translucent: high ghosting. If writing with black or very dark ink, I can only use one side. Choose a lighter ink if you want to write on both sides.Because of its low water absorbancy, ink takes a long time to dry: 2-3 min for a regular FP ink that dries in less than a minute on ordinary copy paper.It creases easily, so it requires careful handing.

Very happy experience with my fountain pen. No page bleed, or feathering. Consistent feel through the whole page. Paper string enough.

Great for calligraphy

There is no better paper for fountain pen or brush users. The Japanese know something they should share with the rest of the world fountain pen users. If you like to use premium fountain pens, remember to order the Tomoe River Paper. The only thing I don't like is having to anticipate the shipping delay. Makes correspondence a pleasurable experience.

I bot both 8.5x11 & A4. Ignore 3 stars; this is COMMENTS ONLY. For Pen, I have not tried it. For printing, it jammed. Old version gets 0 stars for printing. New Version = 5 stars. I tried printing this TR 52 gsm paper in my Samsung CLX-6260: Jam! Then I bot a Canon i-SENSYS LBP653Cdw laser printer from UK (not sold in US) rated for 52gsm, but my attempts to print this paper also jammed. But no significant ghosting. The 68 gsm version is too expensive, & is only in A4 size. Then I learned that TR has changed the formula for the 52gsm paper, & I got some new formula paper from Lion Office Products (saleslady Yumiko Kawasumi, who gave me a free sample 100 sheets of A4). THE NEW FORMULA PRINTED WITHOUT JAM in my Canon, but slow. I doubt that U can find a small pack of New 8.5x11 to test. I had to buy min. 8 reams of it via Lion Office Products, cost ~$320 plus ship ~$70; takes 2-3 mo. for it to arrive from Japan.TR paper is made by Tomoegawa, Japan & distributed by Sakae Technical Paper; USA distr = Lion Office Products (LionOP) in California. Is FP paper ia hobby for Sakae? The new formula has prob a bit coarser surface, tho to my touch it seems very smooth.) The 100 pack cud be 1/4" thick.I printed ~40 pages 2-sided w/ no jams. I built a frame using 2x12s & 2x4s under my printer. Thus there is a large air space under my printer in which I put a fan under the printer blasting air up to cool the printer.Apparently Tomoe paper is primarily sold in huge off-set printer sheets, perhaps in different gsm types.

This is quality paper and is exactly as described. The ONLY personal issue I have is that the chemicals used in the paper process makes my sinuses really hurt. I will continue to use it for journaling, but wear a mask until it has time off-gas the offending chemicals.

This paper is perfect for use with a fountain pen; not all paper is. I can write long letters and still use only one stamp!

This paper suited the purpose I wanted it for. I was able to place over a lined sheet and write.
