Fountain Pen Ink, Oxblood 30 ml

This is enjoyable ink. It is red without being offensive. I have used this ink in cartridges. This is my first time buying this color in a bottle. It is fountain pen ink, so a good quality paper is helpful. I use a fine point nib and this ink is easy to write with, flows smoothly, low feathering, and the ink is not too thick.

I love this brand ink. The flow of ink is great and glides onto paper effortlessly. Good value, especially compared to other brands of the same quality. The shading with this ink is really nice looking. Dries quickly so I’ve never had it smudge on the fountain pen paper. This brand has many favorites.

I do love Diamine inks. Great colors. Good sizes. Easy to open. (Yes, that's wierd, but I've had other inks that were impossible to open.) Very happy with this ink.

Excellent product and service! The Poppy Red color is neither too light (pinkish) nor too dark (burgundish).

My favorite ink ever. Beautiful shade. Slightly cheaper than JetPens.com, just by a few cents though. Works out though since I'm a Prime member and shipping was free. Anyway, I love this shade!! I've only had this bottle for about 3 months, but I write with it daily since it's for my diary. Totally buying a bigger bottle soon since I'm almost out! The paper I use is off white so the shade is more of a deep, dark blood color!! Also for reference, my fountain pen of choice for this ink is the Kaweco Sport.

Once I figured out my pen mechanics, the ink started behaving normally so it was definitely user error at first. Now it is clear, smooth, and bright! Great quality and great price :)

Diamine Oxblood ink, is a beautiful ink. The color is rich and dark (if it spills on your hand it’ll look like you cut yourself, but on paper, it’s luxurious! A dark, deep burgundy—a true burgundy) and the ink dries rather quickly. I use a glass dip pen with this ink and it has made my writing experience even more of a joy! Now, I’ve used Rhodia and another brand of paper (I’ll edit this review and add the name later on when I remember), and there was no bleeding nor feathering, and little show through. Very high quality ink. I did not test to see if the ink is waterproof but I will check and edit the review when I can. Drying time? I’ll guesstimate under 10 seconds, far quicker than some other inks I’ve worked with. Diamine Oxblood is a well behaved, rich toned, great quality ink. On the other hand, if you are using a dip pen, I recommend you use a ink well (the bottle is small and narrow, so dipping the pen in it isn’t too “comfortable”..), but I this is a sample size, so I will be buying the larger bottle soon! I recommend this item!

I dislike intensely the plastic bottle. Why not glass for those of us who use fountain pens and dip pens? Why not glass in these times of banishing plastics? The tall, unsteady plastic bottle has made me revert to my other brands ..shame because the colours of this brand are good. For me the bottle is a very important factor when purchasing inks. I re-use the too.

Bought from seller: Penz Solutions It came generously wrapped in bubble wrap, great packaging, no leaks, came in perfect condition. The bottle design and label design is different than the one advertised in the product listing but it is indeed Kensington blue. For the ink review theres a couple youtube videos that you can watch. In my opinion a good Indigo blue ink.

Great product for calligraphy or painting. However I would say it's more orange than peach (pic attached for reference)

Wenn die Tinte fließt, schreibt es sich sehr angenehm. Durchbluten oder Ausfransen habe ich nicht festgestellt. Majestic blue hat für meinen Geschmack etwas zu wenig Varianz in der Sättigung, das ist aber Geschmackssache. Aufgrund der Anschreibschwierigkeiten, kann ich mit der Tinte nichts anfangen.

Ink flow is amazing. Color is rich and saturated. Very good ink overall. Does not block the feed upon drying.
