my Bose original ear pads were virtually in shreds and I should have changed them quicker. I was actually trying to hide them as I tucked the bits back in on the plane I was so embarrassed! Finally I decided to buy new ones but there are a fair number on Amazon and I spent long enough searching, reading reviews etc. I settled on these and am glad I did. I was worried by one reviewer who said he thought they were a bit stiffer than the originals but I haven’t found that and I wear them several hours at a time, I fly a lot. I took a chance and bought two pairs. They arrived quickly in a zip envelope, included is a little tool to push the rim into the clips. No problem. You just pull off the existing pads, also iclueded are the Left Right protector filters, some said they don’t change them but I did just for hygiene. Two little sticky strips to secure the new ones then press home the pads with the wee tool till it all clicks into place. Took me maybe five minutes but I was going slow in case I broke anything, don’t worry, you won’t. The noise cancellation is equal to the Bose. There is not much more you can review for ear pads except to say I’d recommend without hesitation. Added bonus is it’s about 25% cost of the Bose ones. I will certainly look nowhere else in future.

I was going to order them from Bose's website but the significant number of negative reviews put me off. As this one is cheap, I thought I'd give it a go. The pads fitted perfectly other than the fact that they seem to have more creases on them. The pads feel the same and cut external noise just as effectively as the originals. I cannot vouch for their longevity. Only time will tell.

This product looks and feels just like the Bose original items. They are very easy to fit. Simply pull off the old cushions, (you don't need any tool for this), take out the old dust protection barriers, peel off the film on the stickers of the replacement dust barriers (labeled L and R to make it easy to fit them in the correct ear piece!), put the dust barriers in place and press on them to stick them in position. Then simply push the new cushions (they are identical, so no need to look for a L and R) into place using your thumbnail on the hard plastic surround until you hear it click at each latch point. NB It is worth looking at each earphone before you do this, to see the latching points, so you have a good idea where they are when you come to fit the cushions. Although the product comes with a free "opening tool" you really do not need it, the old cushions simply pull off with little effort.

Just received and installed these replacement ear cushions so I cannot judge how well they age but they look and feel great. They are indistinguishable from the original from the outside, if not better. The color matches perfectly. They look a bit different on the inside as my old AE2i lacked the letter L and R denoting the left and right head phone but that's just a detail. They also fit perfectly and the replacement was quick and easy following one of the online tutorials that's one google away. Very happy with the purchase and ordering another pair right away just in case these are out of sale by the time the current ones break. (The original lasted 5 years for me.)

Easy to install, good comfort and fit. They failed after 3 years, so I am marking them down for durability.

Arrived in cardboard envelope. Contained earpads, cup mesh pads and fitting tool. Replacement was easy: just pull off the old ones and use fitting tool to make sure new pads clip in place. Boom! - 1 minute and it's done. Quality is good, but they do feel a little bit, slightly stiffer, not as squishy soft as original pads but still good. The colour is lighter grey compared with original pads (there are darker shades available on Amazon) but actually I really like this lighter shade! It gives headphones a bit more life. Overall highly recommend product, great quality for this price.

Barely used but have flaked apart a few years in. Awful quality. Avoid.

I initially had some issues fitting these but turned out was user error. When removing the originals there is actually a plastic ring which can detach from the earpiece. This ring needs to be removed in order to fit the replacements properly

Installation is not the easiest but manageable. Comfort is not quite like new but a nice refresh if you have worn out headphones.

Après plusieurs mois d'utilisation, je suis impressionné par leur qualité, leur douceur et leur durabilité. Ils sont faciles à installer et ne compromettent pas la qualité sonore. Un excellent choix pour prolonger la vie de votre casque à moindre coût.

Me han gustado mucho. Tenía los de serie muy gastados ya y estos son prácticamente idénticos a los originales. Los pude cambiar muy fácil sin necesidad de utilizar la herramienta que trae. Como consejo, para limpiar el sudor después del uso es aconsejable utilizar un algodón con alcohol y pasarlo suavemente.

Anhand der schlechten Bewertungen war ich zunächst skeptisch, aber der Geiz hat am Ende gesiegt. Zum Glück! Ich erkenne keinen Unterschied zu den Originalen, auch das angebliche nicht mehr vorhandene Noice Chancelling kann ich nicht bestätigen. Im Gegenteil, da die alten Polster schon ziemlich mitgenommen waren, war deren NC nicht mehr die Beste. Nun ist alles wie früher, zum kleinen Preis - Klasse! Auch das kleine Werkzeug, welches mitgeliefert wird ist super praktisch und man hat im Handumdrehen die Polster gewechselt. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
