Tama-roca Enchilado (30ct)

This Mexican candy has been on recall for years in California due to its high levels of lead. Children and pregnant women are especially at risk from consuming this candy because of the negative health effects lead has on bone and brain development. Tama-Roca and any seller of this product have proven to be irresponsible knowing full well this product is illegal to sell in the United States until they lower the lead content of the candy and have it re-tested by the US govt.Check the California Dept. of Public Health (CDPH) webpage for other lead warnings, as well as food and toy recalls.***This warning also goes for the Tamanzela brand of candy. It is also on recall by the CDPH.
