GN Battery Kit for 9120 and 9125 GN-14151-01

So far so good. Replacing the battery is challenging since everything is so small. You may need a tweezer to handle the screws. The philip screw driver that is included was too big so I ended up using a jewelry screw driver. One I removed the plastic holder, I could not pull/slide the battery out. I ended up removing the three star screws to lift the top off so I could replace the battery. I didn’t use the two screws that were included with the package. Reassembled, fully charged and ready to go. I’m on the phone all day and was happy to find the battery kit instead of investing in new unit.

This kit for replacing the battery in my Jabra headset is exactly what it purports to be, nothing more and nothing less. The one thing that keeps this from being a full five stars is the fact that the screw drivers were not magnetized. I would have liked it better if the screw drivers were magnetized due to the extremely small size of the screw holding the battery in place. That being said, the kit does come with an extra screw or two in case one gets lost.

The item that I thought I was purchasing from Merritt Communications was not as described! I did get the battery BUT it did NOT include the screwdrivers as shown! I did find that I was able to put in the new battery without the special screwdrivers. I had some small precision screw drivers already and although some of the screws are torx head (kind of star-shaped) I was able to make do with just a Philips head and I was able to use the flat head screw driver instead of the torx head. Although, it is recommended that you get the screwdrivers also (that are supposed to come with the above kit). The battery works fine and Merritt did eventually ship the screwdrivers separately, however by that time I had already installed the new battery. In short, battery works great but don't recommend the above distributor and when ordering, make sure that they do, in fact come with the screwdrivers as described.

Product was exactly as described and works perfectly. Oddly enough, the small screwdriver included was still a bit too large for the tiny screw inside the headset, but I already had a tiny screwdriver that I could use to get the original battery out. The price was excellent and my headset is back to lasting for several hours before I have to recharge it. Very pleased with my purchase.

Fixed the issue. Install took 10 minutes and immediately improved the headset performance.

Battery worked great torx screw driver was undersized, had to modify it with a file.

Not much to say about this kit other than it works as advertised. We have several wireless GN Netcom wireless headsets in our office and one was just not holding a charge any longer. Since replacing the battery using this kit, the headset is now working as good as new. The kit was relatively easy to use and the instructions were clear. I would buy this again when we need to replace another one of our headset batteries.

Battery works as expected, my favorite headset (9120) is back to life and working. Same package I ordered last time I replaced my battery, and that one lasted two years or so.Came packaged as pictured, with jeweler's screwdrivers. These were not necessary for my headset (maybe for the 9125?), but they're surprisingly decent quality so I've hung on to them. No need for the tiny torx yet, though.

The battery life is improved. It was easy to install. It was delivered when promised. They give you two screw drivers to help with install.

Besser geht es nicht. Nicht nur der Akku, sondern auch das Werkzeug zum Tauschen werden mitgeliefert. Super. In meinem Fall war zwar etwas mühsame Bastelarbeit von Nöten, da sich der alte Akku aufgebläht hatte und somit nicht mehr so einfach aus dem Fach zu entnehmen war, aber dafür kann dieses Set ja nichts.
