The Groz Blacksmith's Cross Pein Hammer (34530) is built around the Groz Indestructible Handle: 4 spring steel bars are locked into the hammer head with steel locking plates and a special bonding process, so the head will not dislodge or work loose under repeated heavy strikes. An ergonomic rubber grip absorbs shock and vibration to reduce fatigue across long forging, riveting and demolition sessions.The 2.5 lb (1.15 kg) head is forged from special steel and induction case hardened to 50-58 HRC for extended life. ANSI marked and rated for a -10C to 50C (14F to 122F) working range, the 16" / 400 mm hammer is engineered for blacksmiths, farriers, fabricators, ironworkers, masons and concrete crews. Use it for heavy forging, bending and spreading metal, driving punches and chisels, driving masonry drills, concrete and stone work, and starting panel pins and tacks. Sister SKU 34531 offers the same handle with a 3.5 lb head.Warning: do not strike objects harder than 46 HRC, as striking harder items can cause fracture or chipping.

Review: Sweet hammers - Killer hammers, but do not pay full price. For full price you can get a Wilton that is America made. These are India. With that being said I do like the balance and handle feel of the Groz more than my Wilton. But the Groz paint chips easily off, the color is super cool, but chips. I found these for 11.50$ each so I bought the max of 5 and gave them as gifts, epic bargain. Epic gift. Retail over 60$ but I would say good deal at around 35 40$

Killer hammers, but do not pay full price. For full price you can get a Wilton that is America made. These are India. With that being said I do like the balance and handle feel of the Groz more than my Wilton. But the Groz paint chips easily off, the color is super cool, but chips.
