This chinstrap solved that issue phenomenally, gives a nice snug fit but doesn’t obstruct any cables. I’m still able to open my mouth and communicate comfortably as well and I would say I have a rather large head so I was quite surprised that the strap allowed for this. My wife has been very patient about it for the better part of twelve years, but in the last year or two it apparently got significantly worse — bad enough that she started sleeping with earplugs, which honestly made me feel terrible. I use a CPAP machine for diagnosed sleep apnea, but even with it I was apparently still snoring through the mask due to mouth breathing. My mouth kept falling open during the night, which both breaks the CPAP seal and causes that dry-mouth-from-the-depths-of-hell feeling in the morning. My doctor mentioned a chin strap as a simple fix before we looked at other options, so I figured at this price point it was worth a shot. The fit took a night or two to dial in.
