Love these headphones!
I have been a medical transcriptionist for about 20 years and have used a lot of different headphones over those years. I had used some like these when I worked in a hospital, but at home I had been using some over-the-head stereo headphones. When those bit the dust, I decided to go back to this style and I'm so glad I did! The sound quality and clarity is excellent. Actually I didn't realize how bad my old ones were until I got these and WOW, I can understand the doctors a lot better now! I had been having to turn the volume up almost to the maximum on my computer but with these headphones I'm back to a normal audio level! They are very lightweight and comfortable in my ears. Also appreciate the long cord as several others have said, because shorter cords do tend to get hung on my desk or chair. Highly recommend these headphones.

Great headset
This replaced a 30 year old headset and appears to have the same quality manufacturing as the original. Great fit and function. Great sound clarity.

Lightweight, great sound, comfortable as heck!
Love these. I have never found a pair of in-the-ear headphones that actually stay in my ear; thus, I have always been on the hunt for a comfy pair of over-the-head headphones. These are absolutely perfect. They are extremely lightweight, don't dig into my ears, and the cord is extra long, which is perfect for plugging into my computer at work. Like other reviews stated, the head band is not adjustable, but it seems to not be an issue with these because they are so lightweight.

Nothing Special
I bought this headset for audio transcription. The way it was touted on the referring website, I expected something special, but it's just okay. Audio quality is no different from that of the $10 headsets I buy at brick-and-mortar stores (except others are stereo, this one is mono). HEADS-UP, though (no pun intended): Headband is not adjustable and seems designed to fit someone with either a large head, or big hair. Being short-haired & small-headed, the only way I can use it is to let the headband rest on the back of my neck. The extended cord comes in handy though. If I had it to do over again, I'd pass on this one and continue using headsets I already own. Next time I do buy a headset, I'll look for more features, such as volume control on cord and, obviously, adjustable headband.

A reasonably priced, quality hi-fi headset
The headset has wonderful fidelity and is well made. The long cord is an inconvenience but I'm sure I will figure something out as it was the only model available. The head band does not adjust but fits well and keeps the buds on my ears even at a hard run. The oversize ear buds not only provide full spectrum sound but block much of the exterior noise that others didn't. They are also comfortable on the ears. They do not go into the ears with the cover screens on. I recommend this headset. The price is a bargain as well.

I am in love!!
I have been a medical transcriptionist for 20 years. I have always worn Koss DS10 headphones, but can no longer find the ear pads. I decided to try the Olympus E-102 system. Wow, I am in love!!! I am getting better sound now than I ever did with Koss, even when they were new! The sound is so crisp and solid, for the first time ever, I find myself needing to turn down the volume! For lightweight headphones for full-time job, these babies rock! They are so light that I can barely feel them on my head. I also love the longer cord, so that I don't find myself moving my head and jerking the headphones off my head! Great job Olympus!

The volume is awesome. What I can barely hear on my Sony ...
The volume is awesome. What I can barely hear on my Sony MDR-U10 headset has been amplified maybe more than 10 times on this headset. However, that's just it - pure volume. The quality of the sound has deteriorated obviously. Whereas the sound on my Sony MDR-U10 is very crisp and clear, the sound on the Olympus E-102 has become so echo-ey like you are listening to a recording from a cave or an empty room, thus, it is not so clear and I am obviously hearing all the pf sounds, the s's, and all the air that it has become more difficult to understand, like muffled, and not comfortable to my ear drums. The cover that comes with the headset for the ear piece are also not comfortable and very hot to the ears. It is more comfortable using the headset without the covers, though I guess depending on the ear shape and such, it might be uncomfortable for long use by some. Now, I can't use it long-term as I'm afraid of ear drum damage due to the discomfort. So I've gone back to using my Sony headset and hoping that it will last a little longer until I can find a more suitable headset to use.
