Powerful Lights for the Night Riders
My boyfriend & I recently sold all of our belongings, ended our leases, and moved into our motorhome full-time. In doing this, we also decided to give up our cars and commit to travel by bike. We are traveling all over the US and working & volunteering along the way. We hunkered down in Maine for the summer and got jobs. This involves lots of daily bike commuting (90-100 miles a week between us), and a chunk of it is in the dark on un-lit country roads, and I mean DARK. So let me tell you about these lights...Pros:-The flashlights are powerful!!! They really light up the roadway without blinding cars coming toward us. I feel so much safer with these.-They're so powerful that for now (until we can afford to buy another set), we share the set. We each have one flashlight & one rear light.-The flashlights especially are heavy duty - they are not flimsy flashlights by any means!! The rear lights don't seem as sturdy, but they're sturdy enough.-They are easy to install.-The rear light is easy to turn on, even while you're riding (like dusk happens during your ride & you don't want to stop), by just pushing the lens (number of pushes determines type of glow - solid, blinking, etc).-The flashlights can focus in on one area, or widen out - this is very helpful when we're going through some super dark areas.-The rear lights came with extra batteries and the flashlights are rechargeable.-Lastly, the packaging is superb. Not only did it look nice, everything was very well protected without excess packaging materials.Cons:-The rear lights are not rechargeable. We purchased another set of lights (different brand) before we found these. The other lights are rechargeable by USB. For that, I prefer the other rear lights long-term. However, these work great and I'm happy with them. Not only that, we truly only originally purchased this set because of the flashlights/headlights, so the rear lights were extra for us.-The flashlights are really hard to put in and take out.... this is a contradicting con because I'm glad they don't easily fall out!!! This con is worth the trouble, but also important to note. All in all, we are very happy with the purchase and highly recommend the product if you ride in the dark. Thanks for making such a quality product!!

They are paying you to use these. I mean the batteries alone are worth the price.
That said keep that in mind because here's the deal kids :Go to the hardware store and ask for some steel ( I used stainless steel) washers that just will allow the handle bar clamps screws to fit thru them. One on each side of each clamp. Four washers total. If you have a choice get them as big around as the clamp is wide. That way the screws will not pull through the plastic clamps. Come on . . . for the price this is no big deal.If you are concerned that the light might bounce out of the top of the head light bracket rotate the light from the flats being in the bracket to where the round part of the light is in the bracket; note that then the brand name is facing upward just like they intended you to do this (but forgot to put it in the instructions). AND when you do this the pocket clip will now be around the bracket helping to hold the light in place !The plastic discs some people were going on about : if the disc falls down inside the tube of the headlight turn the tube up side down and tap it on a hard surface and . . . the disc falls out. This is a problem ? ? ? Throw the discs away they are packing material. The quality of the headlights for the price is astounding. I feel like any moment I am going to wake up and this will all have been a dream. I will report back after some serious use = riding on hard ice and snow rutted streets in the winter in Colorado to get to work.PS : my batteries took four hours to fully charge = much less than the instructions indicated. When I tried the batteries in the light before charging they were all the way down; no flicker of light from the head light. Once charged Oh Yeah Baby !

Well-made, very bright, dual lights using rechargable 18650 batteries
This is a pair of powerful, bright, long-lasting flashlights with strong bicycle mounts. The batteries are rechargeable 18650 batteries that have a very long life of multiple recharges, and power the lights for hours, longer if you're using flashing mode, on a single charge. They are super bright bike lights which can be seen for at least half a mile in daylight and are handy flashlights, too. One is on my bike. The other, I took one camping and used it all weekend with no drop in brightness.I selected these lights because I use and like the 18650 batteries, which are becoming more popular and are now widely available. These batteries are much more powerful, longer-lasting, and far more durable than the tiny batteries in most other bike lights I've tried.Updating some months later: I bought this package again for my wife, and notice the batteries have been UPgraded since my first purchase. Very pleased repeat purchaser.Great bargain all around.

contradiction but good value
I like having the independent flashlight. I have other similar tactical flashlights. However, the flashlight does not truly lock. I jumped a curb and the flashlight fell out of the grip. It was daytime and did not notice on the next 4 miles. But I went back and it was lucky to be easy to find since the light came on. Recognizing the risk of dislodging I had wrapped a rubber band on the back thinking it would not slip out then. Oops. It needs a mega-strong band hooked in front, wrapped under and all the way to the back. I rated the battery life well but that is with prior experience with flashlights with the 18650 battery. This is an assumption. The batteries that come with it are on the lower side of capacity of available 18650 batteries. But based on how long my batteries last between a charge, they should meet your expectations.

Bright and light but horrible mounts and mechanics
Mixed feelings that led to disappointment. Kinda like when you love a vicious pet.I tried to use these for cycling (on and off road)Brightness : The digital meter in my eyeballs are out of order but I found these lights are quite bright, may even be close to the advertised 700 lumens. With two of them you can set one close to your front wheel and another farther out to see more of the road. They are great in the evening on the road and would be enough light even for trail ridingFunctionality/Quality: Two major flaws. I'm talking breakup and divorce territory. Red flags baby.First - The mounts loosen easily. It's a bolt tightened by a plastic bolt with washers. No matter how hard you screw it, even sidewalk bumps will loosen it making the lights drop. Using it for Off road- I hope God isn't ready for you yet.Second - The beam is focused and spread by pulling and pushing the front of the flashlight in and out. Bumps will also loosen this causing the beam to suddenly focus to a point. In the night, this is deadly.Sadly this makes the light not usable. Can you fix it with Zip Ties and glue or tape? Yeah maybe but then, what's the point of getting these? Go for something that works. There are plenty in this price range. The flashlight itself seems durable, solid metal. I did not use it long enough to speak to battery life. It lasted the few hours I tried to ride with it and I never used it in rain yet.I'm not a weight weenie so the heft did not bother me. They aren't all that heavy to me, but if you're riding a carbon setup and a fly landing on the handlebar is gonna fold you, maybe look elsewhere.Pancake Rear: the rear lights are pretty weak and not rechargeable. I guess visible in the night but not really great in the day. If you are a vampire, then no worries. Otherwise you might still need to find other rear lights.

Unless you have 300 bucks buy these
These lights are better than you think they are. There better than i thought they were at least.Killer bright they adjust and hold the "flood" well. The mounts are the downfall of these lights. They hold well and to be honest for road stuff dont worry about it. But if your like me bombing singletrack for a few hours in the dark waiting for the morning light to take over to head over to the black trails....well the mounts going to break on you so keep some zip ties handy ive had my mounts zip tied on the bars without issue for months now. Also just quick the batteries will give you full bright for a few hours but they dont just shut off after that. Then the just dim a bit and still work just fine...i run one at a time and thats all the bright you need

Amazing power !
Awesome, super brilliant, a bit odd on the bike but..I decided to use it only as secondary lights on trails at night and also usable as a flashlight/torch(which is what mainly is!) Awesome torch for the price!

Well worth it!! Stop looking and just get these you will be very happy!
Packaging is shocking for some bike lights. Build quality is over the top for bike lights. I wouldn’t have thought these would be so good. Very happy. Durability is like military grade
