Rating 5 stars so as not to adversely affect the seller ratings, but not thrilled. I realize this is the current p/n and next generation shape. Read below:I was hoping to receive the filter that was pictured, but instead received the newer generation style, which is a larger canister exactly like the Quick Silver (same part number but with a Q). I know they are the same company, but I don't have a filter wrench for the larger QS or the one that shipped, I have a filter wrench that fits the style pictured, which is the filter I am replacing. The filter wrench helps with installation/removal as I cannot see it and I can only reach enough to get only a partial grip by hand. I have a filter wrench for the style pictured (like the style I am replacing), but not for the filter I received. Why did it change!! The bigger question is, why didn't I receive the filter pictured??Just an inconvenience (as I now have to go purchase a larger filter wrench)

Fit my mercruiser 4.3 just fine!

Shipping was quick, was exactly as described! This is a crossover from the quicksilver 35-883702Q filter. Worked for my 08 4.3 Mercruiser!

Low quality filter. This part number used to be made by a better manufacturer. They are now the lost grade fram/supertech type. I assume the body might be thicker or have a better coating for salt use. Who knows. Cross reference the part number for a larger wix or bosch filter.
