He is a American Bulldog and Old English Sheepdog mix. When we got him from a rescue group, he had a skull and crossbones dog collar, so we started calling him a pirate dog. Well, this dog tag seemed to be a perfect fit. When it arrived it looked great and we put it on him right away. Now we have had it on his collar for a couple of months, and the front design, the skull and crossbones, is missing about 20% around the edges, and the back with our contact info is mostly intact. Like most dogs, he also has a rabies tag, so I am sure that is where the damage is coming from, but I would think that would be something considered in the design and materials of the tag. Overall, it is a fun dog tag, but I wish it was more durable, as it will likely have to be replaced yearly if not sooner.
