Exceptional Razor Blades for the Leaf Razor
I recently purchased a pack of 100 DERBY Single Edge Razor Blades, and I must say, I'm absolutely thrilled with the performance and quality these blades offer in my Leaf RazorThey are individually wrapped, which is a nice touch, ensuring that each blade remains in pristine condition until it's ready for use.One of the standout features of these blades is their longevity. A single blade lasts me several shaves, which makes the 100-pack a fantastic value for the price. They maintain their sharpness remarkably well over time, ensuring consistent, high-quality shaving experiences. The DERBY blades are also quite forgiving, making them suitable for both beginners and experienced shavers. I appreciate how easy it is to maneuver my Leaf Razor with these blades, and they seem to adapt to various hair types and lengths with ease.

Straight Edge, Single Sided Blades for Your PARKER Shavette
Now that my eyes are bleeding from reading all these reviews I'm going to comment. After having almost sliced my fingers off snapping double sided blades to fit my Parker Shavette these are a blessing. I'm not sure if the quality of these blades has decreased as this is the second time I've purchased this brand of blade for my shavette. I do know that these blades fit and work well in my Parker Shavette plus give me a great shave and leave my face baby-butt soft. I can get four shaves before I have to change blades and really have had no snagging or pulling of my facial hair.As another reviewer stated, everyone has a preference, everyones beard type and thickness is different but more importantly pre-shave facial and beard preparation is almost if not just as important as a good blade. Follow the proper steps to prep your beard, as I do, and I doubt you'll have any problems.1) Wash face with super hot (as hot as you can stand it) water; I incorporate a facial scrub. Some people just use their favorite soap. It's up to you.2) I drain half of the exsisting water in the sink and add more hot water, again as hot as you can stand it and I drop my wash cloth and brush in and let it soak for a few seconds. Lightly wring the washcloth out and hold it to my face for about a minute or a bit more.3) If you use a pre-shave oil, as I do, apply a liberal amount all over your beard/shave area and whip up your favorite shave cream and apply cream on face over the pre-shave oil.4) Shave. If doing a double, reapply oil, cream and shave again. Rinse face with hot water.5) Drain sink and rinse face with cold water and pat dry with a towel.6) I use a post-shave balm after I towel dry my face and sometimes use an after shave, depends on what's going on and where I'm going. That's it, no cuts and as I said before, I usually get four shaves per blade.

Great quality, worth the buy
I’ve been using this and their previous product for 4+ years now and they give you a lot of quality blades that last for a long time. I’ve gotten into shaving with a barber blade over regular shavers cause these give a cleaner and closer shave at the fraction of the cost

Not as sharp as I remember them.
In 2016 My First razor came with a 100 pack of single edge derby blades. I thought they were great. Eventually I ran out of blades. I decided to try some sampler packs and ended up with a list of razors I liked. I still ordered a 2 pack of 100 count derby blades because I had such a good experience with them. But to my surprise, I didn’t like them as much as I use to. I normally use a new blade every time I shave because the razors are cheep but even new blades seem to tug on my hair and dont give me the clean shave I remember. Im not sure if my hair became thicker, I got use to better blades, or the actual blades changed. I did notice changes to wrapping paper of each blade, and also the color on boxes were slightly different.Regardless, the blades are just decent. Definitely a mild blade. I would say 6 out of 10. They are great for beginners because they are more forgiving. They are not as aggress as sharper blades and should do well for lining up haircuts. Thick beard hair is a bit more difficult. I really started liking Astra blades but since the war in Ukraine P&G has moved manufacturing from Russia to India and the quality of the product has suffered. Right now my favorite Russian blades that you can still get on Amazon are the Gillette Perma-sharp blades. They seem to be new old stock. But if you have a problem with Russian products right now I would recommend Wilkinson sword. Made in Germany, not the Gillette Wilkinson sword saloon pack. Those are made in china. P&G does not own Wilkinson sword to my knowledge. I have not tried them but I have heard good things about the USA made Persona DE blades. You can’t go wrong with a sampler pack either to see what you like.
