Won't write. What do I do now?** A: What I do that sometimes helps is to "dip" the nib in the ink. I carefully remove the cartridge and dip the tip in the ink, then I'll kind of rub the open end of the cartridge on the middle of the face of the nib. Yes it's kind of weird, and you can make a huge mess doing that if you aren't careful, but it works for me. Someone suggested putting the cap on the pen and shaking it downward forcefully, that also works, just make sure you don't hit anything with the pen. If you visualize the ink getting knocked down into the nib you'll get what we are suggesting. **Q: I just received my pen today. Ink flows into the nib but the pen won't write. Ink doesn't flow out of the tip. Any suggestions?** A: Place the pen tip in scup of water. That should start the ink to run. **Q: This only excepts prefilled ink cartridges? You can't refill it with bottled ink? I purchased this to use with noodlers baystate blue ink.** A: One can purchase a converter to use with the pen; a standard international converter will fit.
