Nice easy installation.
Easy swap with the old card that had a hardwired security issue from 13 years ago. Updated to the fastest connection my old computer can use. Great little card.

Upgrades Laptop to 5Ghz AC + Bluetooth
This is a decent upgrade for a laptop which is not quite old enough to be put out to pasture. Ads 5Ghz wireless at AC speeds and integrated bluetooth. I used this to upgrade and solve a problem with a laptop. It is an Acer e5-571p running windows 10 64-bit, which wifi would not work often and required reboots. It came stock with an atheros wifi card, and I solved the issue by installing the most recent drivers, but Microsoft kept rolling back everytime there was an update. Yes, there are ways to get around that but it just wasn't worth my time, and the laptop would benefit from faster wifi and integrated bluetooth. Using this card and letting Windows 10 detect and install drivers, there are no issues or quirks, and wifi is stable and works after suspend, etc. Note, before you buy this, please make sure that your laptop isn't one which the vendor has made its BIOS specifically reject wifi cards other than the one that comes OEM and is sold or resold through them. HP and Lenovo are well known for this customer forking tactic, but not all HP and Lenovo models have this issue.
