I just used this for a solid 30 min workout alternating jumping and resting. I can feel it in my legs, butt, abs, back, shoulders and arms. This will definitely give you a full body workout. Full disclosure, I am just getting back into working out so if you are already in great shape you may not feel the same results. The best part was this was FUN cardio, it took me back to childhood. If the full body workout continues I may never use another piece of cardio equipment again.Pros: Good weight to it, I personally don't like light flimsy ropes, but not too heavy. Even though it was packed tightly wound up, it straightened itself out enough letting it hang overnight. I like the rope protector at the bottom. Handles are on the light side but I found that I liked that.Cons: My only complaint was getting the ends to pop off the handles to adjust the rope. Really this wasn't all that bad, just get a flat head screw driver to get some leverage and they will come off.I just bought this so we will see how it holds up with repeated use.

I picked this up because I wanted to jump rope in-between rolls at jiu-jitsu (especially when there is an odd number of people at class) and the cotton rope seemed like it wouldn't damage the mats. And, for this use - it's really good. The couple of times I've messed up and smashed the rope into my toes wasn't too painful (as compared to a speed rope). The weight it just perfect for how I'm using it.

Rope works great, I like the increased weight. I was used to a speed rope. I am a little concerned about how long the rope will last with daily use. The plastic protector is already wearing out after 6 days of 15 min per day. But for the money its a great rope. I could probably get new rope at a climbing store. I would by this again and recomend it to a friend.t

This jump rope comes with a traveling bag and screw driver. Since I am fairly short, I liked how I could customize the length of the jump rope with ease. The added weight was nice too, but not over bearing. I plan to utilize the bag to be able to bring the rope to outdoor gym classes and not ruin the rope itself. The handles have a very nice comfortable foam too.

These jump ropes are exactly what my wife and I were looking for. They are high quality and have good weight to them. These are not the cheap plastic ropes that have kinks in them. These are actually made of rope material and don't kink. The handles have nice foam grips and the bearings are super smooth. Would definitely recommend these to anyone.

There were many jump ropes selling on Amazon and it made it very difficult to choose the right one. However I randomly picked this jump rope based on the number of Amazon customer reviews, and I am very happy with my decision. The rope weight and handles are very comfortable. It was easy for me to adjust the size with the screwdriver that the seller provided. This jump rope also is very good for exercise. I don’t like exercise much but this can make it fun. This jump rope in particular is good for jumping, since it makes a louder noise to alert you when to jump. It doesn’t go too fast, which is good, since I easily get tired. I can easily resize it to fit my storage area, something I find hard with most jump ropes.I would recommend this product at this price.

I wish I had read the other reviews before purchase.Normally the jump rope weight refers to the rope itself, even including the weight of the handles this is not 0.5 lb.Rope: 85.90 g / 3.03 oz / 0.19 lbHandles: 76.40 g / 2.69 oz / 0.17 lbTotal: 162.30 g / 5.72 oz / 0.36 lbThe thickness of the rope is 6 mm, this would be okay in itself but when combined with the lightness of the rope it means that there is very little feedback and it is difficult to control. It definitely does not give the enhanced cardio workout that a weighted jump rope is supposed to.Also: The additional (2nd) bearing within each handle came loose and fell out, they serve no purpose whatsoever.Update: The vendor has contacted me several times, they claim that the product has been improved and they have offered me compensation to delete my negative review because of this. Whilst I have no way of verifying the new product I have since discovered that the majority of weighted ropes are generally underweight. Also: I now realise that I have a personal preference for a very heavy rope, and really struggle with anything lighter. I purchased other ropes from Amazon after this one and was similarly disappointed. In the interest in fairness: I have therefore tempered my previous review and requested refund from the vendor to the value of the original purchase. Whether or not they honour this I will leave this review as it is now.

Totally misdescribed. These are not weighted in any way. They are lightweight cheap toys.
