It is a cheap piece of red plastic which doesn't even fit into the filter ring - hold it at a slight angle and you can see the light shining through the gap between the ring and the "filter" element.Do not waste your money. Look for a brandname filter instead ... there is a reason they're more expensive: quality glass.NB: the image was shot with a Fujifilm X-Pro 1, 14 mm, custom wb and had the wb adjusted, red/blue reversed in post processing from the RAW file. The sky should be dark blue to black and the trees should be orange to golden yellow.PS. The filter came in a Fotga box and is not "Made from high quality optical glass" but is a sandwich of 2 separate layers of gratuitous red plastic bonded to two thin layers of glass. I converted my canon t3i to Full spectrum and I have been using this filter the most. It offers the benefits of infrared and enough color to take interesting photographs. I havent't had any issues with glare or sharpness.There is no difference between this and my expensive Hoya filter.
