WE HAVE STRUGGLED WITH MY DOG FOR YEARS TRYING TO KEEP HER TOENAILS UNDER CONTROL.IT TAKES TWO OF US ONE TO HOLD HER AND ONE TO CLIP.AT LEAST ONE TOENAIL EACH TIME SHE WOULD JERK AND CAUSE PAIN.I’M VERY HAPPY I SPENT THE EXTRA MONEY ON THIS , VERY GOOD PRODUCT.THE INSTRUCTIONAL MANUAL IS VERY GOOD AND IN PRINT LARGE ENOUGH TO READ.LOW SPEED IS VERY QUIET SO I STARTED WITH IT.PENNY SOON GOT USED TO THE SOUND.I STARTED VERY GENTLY ON HER NAILS AND CHANGED OFTEN TO REDUCE HEAT.WE HAVE NOW HAD THREE SESSIONS AND GREATLY REDUCED THE NAILS.SHE IS LEARNING TO WALK AGAIN WITHOUT PAIN.I WILL WAIT A FEW DAY TO FINISH.MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE OLDER USB-B CHARGING CONNECTOR.IT IS A PAIN TO TELL UP FROM DOWN AND THEN IT IS A STRUGGLE TO PLUG IT IN.

This is great. I bought one before this just one of those mail trimmers with the diamond grinder it was a joke after getting this one I now see how bad the other one was. This is like a professional groomer tool. This has power and grinds the mail so fast it’s great. With my old one I had to do one nail forever this takes seconds and your done. So much better quality this is a solid tool with a little weight to it witch is good. It’s wireless and rechargeable but that doesn’t effect the strength and speed because it works super good. I absolutely love it and wish it was my first buy. Now I tell people about it so they don’t make the same mistake. It works really well and grinds the nails super quick ( please remember when cutting your dogs nails that these heat up and the heat goes to the nail so please if your doing your dogs nails please remember to grind for a second and then take a break so it doesn’t heat up and hurt or burn them witch makes them pull away. You could stop for a min or goto the next nail and then go back to it cause it gets hot in seconds).I definitely recommend this dremel for anyone. I don’t always do my dogs nails I take him to the groomer because I don’t feel safe getting down low on the nail but grinder makes it so much easier for me to keep them shorter in between the groomer since they grow fast. This grinder grinds the mail right back down so fast and I feel much safer to grains gradually instead of cutting. This was definitely a great purchase. Also if you have a dog that doesn’t like there nails done the one and two speed is pretty quiet and it’s so quick that you can get it done quicker and less stress in your pup. It comes with a few disks and pieces to get you started so you can see what works best for you. The sanding disks hold up or last pretty good to.All around great tool

I find this dremmel to be higher powered and easier to use than other brands I’ve tried in the past. It’s not super noisy, and maintains a charge for a good amount of time.My only complaint is that the guard is easy to accidentally push into the dremmel pad. Then the pad is awkwardly scraping against the plastic.

Battery holds out throughout the nail grinding, kit is pretty awesome, wish it came with an organizer case or something. The weight is light enough to easily maneuver but heavy enough that you don’t feel like it will break. The noise is about what you would expect from a quality rotary tool, I’m not sure if there is any escaping the dental drill sound. Great design and a dog care must have.

I have a dog who HATES nail clips. It’s always a fight to trim his nails. I was looking for a light weight, portable, quiet nail grinder that was easy to hold onto and use while struggling to hold him down. This grinder punched all the tickets. It’s a good quality grinder that works fantastic. Definitely recommend

I spent a few weeks petting our dogs while letting the unit run by them & then I started just doing a few of the back nails & then only for a few seconds at a time. It’s now easy to trim their nails. They still don’t love me holding onto their front paws & will sometime pull away but I just wait until they let me have their paw back & start again. Our dogs are large with thick nails so I use the 2nd speed & it works fine. I sometimes won’t use the clear cap. The removable cap & sleeve are easy to wash & let air dry after using. I thought I’d purchase the metal bits but I haven’t yet. I won’t be able to use the cap if I did & the included sand disks seem to work fine. The charge seems to last quite awhile too. It’s not cheap but we just budgeted for it & I don’t regret it.

A mellower version of their higher end dremal, but shorter, quiter, and more dexturous. Makes it a breeze to maneuver in your hand vs. the larger corded Dremal many may have in their shops. Not a fan of the grooming attachment with the sanding pad for our bigger pup (Golden). This attachment, however, may be useful for smaller pets like cats and Frenchies. My opinion: One really needs the drum sander for bigger dogs (I noticed the groomers use the drum sander also for bigger dogs). I used a higher grit sandpaper (220) for my Golden since it's a bit smoother (external purchase). For those new to these gizmos, you will likely benefit from another person helping with Peanut Butter or other treat for distraction. As for familiarity, my dog was already acquainted with the dremal w/the local groomer, but the familiariziting is likely key as emphasized in the video. The best part: The customer service line was fast and knowldgeable. I waited for less than 30 seconds. She knew her products and was able to ascertain that the "3" setting on the accessory adapter doesn't work with this model (Model 7760-PGK). Only the #1 and #2 slots on the grooming accessory work with this model. Saving me a return, she knew this right off the bat and explained the manual didn't cover that on page 16 (illustrating 26). She explained that the #3 notch was for other Dremal models (the manual on page 16 was basically a copy/paste with no relevance to this specific model). Ended up not using the sandpaper disc attachment in lieu of a 220 grit drum sander. Hopeully this helps if folks have smaller dogs where the grooming attachment is preferred. Splendid telephone customer service that knows their product inside and out. Five stars!!
