High Torque Permanent Magnet DC 12V High Speed 12000 RPM Brush Small DC Motor

I used a flange to attach a 16 inch x 1/8 inch plexi disc to this motor on a 20 amp power supply through a PWM controller. That much mass requires it to be ramped up slowly or the motor makes angry sounds. It did reach 12230 RPM at 12.6 volts. I had to cut the plex on a table saw then sand it roughly to round. Once on the motor I did the finish sanding to true the edge to the motor axis. It took all 20 amps of my power supply to bring it up to full speed with that much mass and the spark at the brushes looked good. I was able to true the disks up easily and the motor got warm but not hot. Ordered another with bracket, a 60 amp PWM controller and breaking out 2 of my 13.5v x 40 amp power supplies in parallel to run two disks for a Wimhearst Generator.

The motor is nice and seems powerful enough....I hope. But the seller needs to be more specific with their details. I rushed ordering this because I read a review where someone said it is a 6mm shaft. Well turns out it's a 5mm shaft. Not what I want or need. Also when you read the "Technical details" Package dimensions say 5.3 x 3.8 x 3.2 inches. I read that as being that's the size of the motor. I was like wow, that's a beefy unit. Well those sizes are for the box that the motor comes in. So yeah that's my fault but that's pretty misleading. 5 STARS for the motor itself but minus one star for each upset that I had when it actually came in.

This is a powerfull little motor. It is advertised as a 12V but the manufacturer site rates it at up to 24 V. I have it hooked up to a 15V power supply and it is a beast. Please note that the L298N speed controller will not deliver enough current to get the most out of this motor. I have reciewed another speed controller that will do the job.

This motor is garbage! I was using it as a vibrator motor for a home made Lyman type polisher. I put a very small with a small counter weight on the shaft, and it would have been ideal, except the front bushing wore out in less then 3 hours of use! And it is all stamped and spot welded together there is no practical way to take it apart to replace anything, or I could have found a real ball bearing replacement set to put in place of their cheap soft as lead bushings!And since it took me a couple, of months to get all of the parts assembled for this project, I am just stuck with it. But after I saw it was a total loss, I sawed the front of the motor housing off and got the two magnets out. They are a nice size, and pretty powerful, so at least I got a little something out of it. That is not a very sot very satisfying result overall though.

Was a perfect fit to use to replace a burn out oem ibr module motor. Tested before and after install on trailer. Next step water test.. so far so good. Only negative is when I bought the shipping time was close to a week.. this took about 2.5 weeks from China not US

This motor seems to be a good quality although I haven't finished the project yet so I will have to see how it holds up

They work great. Arrived quickly. strong magnets, and a very durable front bearing. Exactly to spec.

Package came wrapped acceptable and on time. Runs at a steady speed with strong torque, with no variable jumping. It doesn't come with any mount, so that could be an issue for some. All in all, good DC engine.
