The OEM is a floppy rubber and this replacement is a sturdier and firmer silicone. I'll save the diaphragms for later but I did replace the other 2 items: the large blue disc and it's yellow mounting pad. The disc was folded over pretty compactly during shipping, but flattened out well after a while in the desert sun. Replacing the yellow mounting pad was a bit of a challenge because it was very stiff and slightly distorted from shipping. I soaked it for a while in very hot water, and then with the assistance of a flat head screw driver, some brute force, and some heated invective, got the job done.
