Very well packaged!
Most all the other Allen Designs clocks have very positive reviews so I thought I would take a chance on this one that has mostly bad reviews due to shipping... Happily, it appears that the shipping issues I read from past reviews have been fixed! The deer head is packed in its own cut out in the Styrofoam and it mounts to the front of the clock with a built-in magnet. The handing cones were attached and the pendulum was in perfect shape. The entire clock was in form fitting foam, inside a box. That box was shipped within another box. The colors are bright and my wife loves it!

Great design
Love this clock! Bought for a house warming gift. This is our 2nd Allen clock. GREAT customer service! Order arrived quick and well packaged.

I'm leaving a good review although I had to send the clock back. The clock I received was missing the deer head on the top. I'm ordering another one though. My husband loves Allen Design Clocks & collects them.

It's not that I hate this little clock
It's not that I hate this little clock. It's that I've bought two Allen Designs Pendulum clocks and each one (this one and the peacock) have arrived broken.Where is the quality control? The pendulum for the peacock wasn't included in the original packaging and had to return for another clock. The clock pictured here had one of the red hanging pine cones missing. UPS will be picking it up tomorrow. A word of warning: if you have a time limit, buy these clocks early. They're simply delightful once you get things sorted out.

The clock is working well except that it's much smaller than i expected. And the hands of the clock are too well camouflaged as the colour do not stand out

I'd like this clock as a gift
I purchased 3 Allen Designs Clocks. This particular one was a gift for my brother. It arrived in a multitude of pieces. I agree with the other reviewer, where is the quality control? I'd like this clock as a gift, but am afraid to reorder due to lack of quality control.
