Hard to beat at this price point
First, the imperfections. Turning on the surround setting can make exquisite sound, but it can also tear up spoken voice pretty bad. During some movies, the surround feature leaves action effects ear-pierciningly loud, and spoken voice inaudible, especially for older-produced movies. The second setting, "voice," does not address this adequately. Finally, the remote is fairly basic. Now, the good. You can simply use the bar without the voice or surround features, or can use the voice feature for things like the news or any situation for which you need voice to be more pronounced. It covers s fairly wide range of voices. With both off, this is among the absolute best sound bars near this price point. I've tried quite a few, and I can only see an argument for the $199 Sony with wired subwoofer (this Klipsch is wireless). I'm not sure how Sony manages to compete with kilpsch, but both are far superior to the Vizio's, Samsung's, LG's, JBL's, and Yamaha's at this price point. It's not close. Bose (who I can't stand) is admittedly a step above all of those to me, but falls short of the Klipsch and Sony. This thing has room-shaking bass. This is the equivalent of a high-end 10" woofer in you car. You can't quite feel it deep in your chest because of its size. While there is a bit of a "feel" to it, what's actually impressive is the sound. The bass quakes and is sufficient to fill a room of any size. The sound is a 9/10 overall. The detail is surprising given the price, and I think a lot of that has to do with the design. There is only a very slight high-mid frequency range where I don't feel the clarity is there, but I'm not an audiophile and can't quite explain what I mean. It's very, very hard to detect. The sound is truly as good as you can do for the price. The build is really nice. The main bar is covered in a fairly durable material. This has fallen onto the floor 3-4 times because of the dog and it didn't interrupt the playing or make a mark. The subwoofer box is actually kinda heavy. I thought it would be particle board rather than wood, but it can't be. I don't even think it's pine, because it has nice weight. I think the subwoofer is built to last.Overall, you're not going to be disappointed. I paid $299, and at that price in 2019, I think the worst case scenario is you walk away saying "I got decent value for what I paid." In my estimation, it returns a bit more value than that even.

Weak midrange
The midrange frequencies in the vocal range are very weak. The bass from the subwoofer is more than adequate and unfortunately drowns our the weak sound bar. Overall it’s loud , decent but lacks the vocals needed to play a concert well. Long fan of Klipsch, but they build stuff to sacrifice key elements that make you go to the next model, in this case the 48.

Best HDMI ARC soundbar with Sub out
I was struggling to find a good full sounding bar with sub out with variable volume and HDMI ARC compatible. This fit the bill perfectly. The klipsch sub is not great but I wasn't planning on using it so no problem for me.I have this on a 2018ish Bravia Android TV, using the TV remote with ARC to control volume, and an external Phillip's powered sub.Klipsch bar sounds great, looks great, sub out is great. Works seamlessly. If you think of this as not coming with a sub since it's not great, it's a hair more than I wanted to pay. That said, I tried MULTIPLE sound bars before this and they all had some major fault. This has no deal breakers. Highly recommended if you have your own sub and want ARC.

Good sound, poor Bluetooth
I always had a high opinion of Klipsch products, so when I saw a price drop I had to get this sound bar. Initially it worked fine, except that I had trouble syncing with my phone to stream music. That wasn't a big concern because the primary use was to get improved sound while watching TV.Then the subwoofer started losing its connection to the sound bar, so I moved it around the room in hopes of getting a better connection. The new location seemed to do the trick, but after a week or so once again the sub woofer started to act up. I tried another location that was within 6 feet, but to no avail. The subwoofer would no longer stay connected to the sound bar no matter where it was located. While I say it would not stay connected, the blue light indicated that it was, but the connection was poor and it resulted in random booming noises. Reviews indicate that this is not an uncommon problem, so I'm pretty sure I'll be returning this unit for a refund.Update: I didn't return the sound bar after all because the sub connection stabilized and I have had no further issues. Since the problems started when I tried using the Bluetooth connection to my phone, I have decided that I will let sleeping dogs lie and not use that feature. Therefore I changed my rating from a 2 to a 4.

Great quality, just a couple small problems
Sound quality is amazing and sub puts out a ton of bass for the size. I only have a couple problems. First is I can’t seem to pair up my tv remote with it (probably a me problem). The second is that if you turn on the sound bar using the Bluetooth on your phone it doesn’t seem to turn on the sub as well, so you have to turn on the sound bar with the remot to get it to work. Lastly the Bluetooth range is horrible. I can walk 15 feet down the hall, turn the corner and the Bluetooth cuts out. That being said I will never buy something that’s not Klipsch. The sound quality for the price simply cannot be beat.Update: after a little over 2 years of owning, the sub has decided to stop working altogether. Doesn’t want to power on, and the light no longer comes on when I try to pair. Extremely disappointed in Klipsch, use to be the only brand I’d recommend.

Excellent soundbar for Music !!
The sound Bar is excellent !!! We all love it . The quality of sound is perfect also the wireless sub woofer had no issues in connecting to the system.Sound excellent with connected using Bluetooth .I would have loved to have optical input and USB input . The volume should have been little more . For some reasons , it was not working well with my TCL TV and the woofer was not giving impact.
