Dragamonz, Ultimate Dragon 6-Pack, Collectible Figure and Trading Card Game, for Kids Aged 5 and Up

I got this as a birthday gift for my grandson who loves dragons—and this set did not disappoint! His face lit up the moment he opened it. Great quality and loads of fun. Definitely a win!

Amazon is the place to buy Dragamonz. They are the best price, and they get the newest releases. If you are buying toys that are intentionally packaged so that you don’t know what you are getting, this is SUPER important. When we started getting these a while ago, we initially bought a few boxes, and then started getting repeats. What is neat about Dragamonz is that even if you get a few repeats you can still hope to get some legendary Dragamonz (there are 3 types: common, rare and legendary) which are waaay harder to get. We got lucky and got some. We got to this point, and so we waited for the next/newest release because you don’t want to risk getting the same ones and wasting your money (our kids don’t want repeats, even while creating Dragamonz empires). We saw they had the new release on Amazon, so we bought some more. To try to give ourselves better odds of variability among Dragamonz, we also bought some from a store..... the ones from the store were the old release, so we got more repeats (at least 2 of the 6 were different....). We won’t be buying more from the store right now. Additionally, the new release has more interesting Dragamonz in my opinion. I highly recommend buying these on Amazon. Both our children like these, and they are a great price!

The shells are harder plastic and actually need to be smashed pretty rough to get the toys out. I didn’t care for the hard plastic in the eggs or the amount of waste they made. We thought they’d be thinner like the hatchimal eggs. I believe products like this and hatchimal eggs are extremely wasteful and harmful to the environment because the plastic egg goes immediately into the trash. These companies need to make the shells biodegradable.

This item has three fun components to it: 1) You get 6 dragons, 4 hidden in eggs. They are really cute and feel well made. There are a bunch to gather, and we have not come across any duplicates yet, despite the fact we have bought 18 of them. 2) The card game is entertaining and has fun aspects. Because of the reading requirement it is a a bit difficult for my 5.5 year old, but she is very excited with all the options and attach possibilities. She is doing the counting of who has the highest number, so at least she gets half of the complexity down!! 3) The mobile / digital game is almost as much fun. My daughter loves scanning in the cards and see her dragons come alive and fight other teams. Overall, I think this is a winning game and lots of fun. It also sounds there will be a cartoon by Amazon for these, and my daughter is super excited to see it.

OMG I love this game!!!! And i am a 37 year old Mom!!! LOL You might think this is for boys, but I have 3 girls, ages 8, 6 and 4 and....well the older two love it. 4 year old is still to young to want to play it! :) It is super easy to understand, well after i read the rules a couple times and then had my husband explain it to me! Bahaha, but my kids caught on quick! We actually ended up buying another 6 pack and a 3 pack so we could get more cards. And i was impressed that, yes, we got some duplicates from our first set, but only a couple! We play this almost every weekend and have lots of fun with it!

This is a cute and simple card game for kids, but as an adult and figure enthusiast, I love the little miniature dragons on their own and the card art is charming too. I enjoyed ‘smashing’ open the eggs (4 of the 6 can be smashed open, 2 dragons are visible after opening the box) but you can also poke through the bottom of the egg with your finger to free the figure inside (there is a plastic cap in the top of each egg you can’t ‘break’); this helps keep most of the egg intact if you want to save it for some reason. The egg fragments break easily, but watch as small fragments can wind up everywhere. I’m very pleased with these tiny dragons and hope to pick up more soon.

I purchased this for my sons 6th birthday. He is SUPER in to dragons and I couldn’t really find any good dragon toys that weren’t crazy expensive. These little egg smashing dragons were a big hit! He loved smashing them and seeing which dragon he got. They are super cute! Made of durable/high quality material. They are all so so cute and I can’t wait to set them up on his shelf. Love love love these cute little dragons. His favorite one is the all blue one. 💙
