Well made. So pleased with these. Far better than plastic alternatives, especially if you have a multi-gate setup that you change often. Lovely cast body, smooth with no sharp edges. Moveable gate easily locked - make sure installed the right way. Small gap on one side once closed. Not the end of the world, but hey, might as well get the best out of them. The gate is thin and bends if knocked. Straightens easily, but would recommend installing out of the way of feet or equipment pathways. I've bought a few of these now, and will surely buy more as my dust collection requirements increase. Bottom line - super. highly recommended. David

Quite solidly made but the middle part that slides is easily bent out of shape and then causes stiffness when opening or closing.

I tried making my own , took me 2 days & the blast valve leaked! Bought one of these and they are that good I ordered another one! Well made with no air leaks & no rattles on the pvc ones - I’ve seen metal ones rattling on YouTube videos . Can’t say Anything bad about it! Would recommend !

These dust gates are great, the only drawback I have found is locally sourcing the 2 1/2 inch thermoplastic pipe which, (must be an American standard). However this can be done is via the www

Product is good value for a metal 4” blast gate. Not great quality but works. My main gripe is the packaging was completely inadequate. Both gates were bent almost to 90 degrees as the plastic lined bag offered almost no protection. Fortunately, I was able to straighten them and get them to work but this has left both severely weakened. Please change to stiff cardboard packaging in future.

Buen producto, pero el aire se escapa por la unión de ambas partes, y por consiguiente la aspiradora pierde poder de succión, estoy viendo como sellar ambas partes para que la pérdida de poder sea mínima.
