this kettle is defo up there for quality and build. i like the 3ltr capacity, plenty of cupa's in one round. i like the surgical grade steel as this will prevent bacteria. I also like the look and feel, the handle had plenty of gripb and generous room. i bought this for two reasons to get away from expensive traditional electric kettles and go back to stove use or use it on an induction stove. i was not dissapointed at how fast the boil was, 85 seconds to boiling. cheaper on cost all round. has i nice trigger for pouring the water or filling via the spout as well as fill the traditional way through the top. its quite light given its steel and balance feels good. i had no issuesvwith water pooring or leaking. although you recieve a free sylacon finger mit i found no issue with the heat of the handle. as well as it looked ng good the contrast of the silver and black makes it look good. the whistle works perfectly a loud enough to hear from a different room. I know you can get cheaper kettles even electric but given the versatility and you could even take it away on family camping or trips away its a superb buy with good quality.

Went for the red colour. Looks awesome on the gas stove. Great life saver during electricity black-outs. Whistle works perfectly to alert when water is boiling. Handle is cool to touch. Size is just perfect. Well worth the price. We now prefer to use this kettle rather than the electric.

This is the second one we’ve bought in two years, when using on gas hob make sure the cooker ring/flames don’t reach outer edge as it burns/blackens the kettle, last one fell apart, the whistle fell off, very stylish but not practical for large gas rings

Brilliant kettle! It looks really good. The lever mechanism that opens the whistler is genius and sturdy. It’s really loud and you should easily be able to hear it whistle when you put it on and go upstairs and forget it’s on! It was really well packaged and protected. A top quality product. Also it’s induction hob compatible. I’m really happy.

Gorgeous looking kettle, looks fab on my Aga. Not used it, so can’t comment, maybe when we have the next electricity cut. A quality kettle though.

A great addition to my home and very pleased this kettle so far. Pros: Arrived timely and at time of purchase was £30.03 Nostalgic, as the whistle reminded me of my youth, more importantly it boils the water well plus the whistle sound is the clear indication the water is ready. Wonderful aesthetic fits well into my kitchen colour scheme. Beautifully made and holds enough water for cooking with plenty left for a cuppa To maintain the colour it's recommended not to use high heat, for me I use it one notch down from the highest setting on my induction hob, when I had gas hob I ensured the flames remained within the base and not curving outside and around it. Easy to clean with a damp soft microfibre cloth and dry with a soft kitchen towel Cons: Expect it to take longer to boil than an electric kettle. When full (below the spout) it takes under 10 mins, for 2 mugs around 2 mins or less. Can be considered loud if not used to whistling kettles

Nice shape. Boils quickly. HOWEVER Lid is difficult to remove and the nib on the lid is rubber and only held on with a screw. It came off within 3 days of use.

Der Pfeifkessel ist super vom Design. Funktioniert gut, der Pfeifton ist sehr Laut was super ist. Der Kessel selbst ist leider auch sehr laut beim Wasser erhitzen. Aber alles zusammen ein gutes Produkt für einen guten Preis.

Works perfekt and looks nice

Diesen Wasserkessel kann man bei richtig geschlossenen Deckel, ohne jegliches Risiko einer Verbrennung, am Griff anheben um das kochende Wasser auszugießen. Die Dampfpfeife ist laut genug um gehört zu werden. Da man die Dampfpfeife mit einem Druckknopf vom Ausgießer abheben kann, besteht auch dort kein Verbrühungsrisiko. Optisch macht der Kessel einiges her. Dieser Kessel lässt sich gut abwischen. Natürlich gilt das "Nichtverbrühungs- und Verbrennungsrisiko" bei normalen, sachlichen Umgang.
