They are mounted on the glasses nicely. The "arms" are the same, nice and strong feeling. They open and close well but you can tell the mechanism has them well under control. I have not had any of them bend nor break off (I now have 11 pair). I don't have to have them constantly tightened because the screw is loose again. In fact, I haven't had to tighten any screws on these yet and I am pretty rough on my glasses unfortunately. Oh, the lenses! Yes, they are exactly as advertised. No squinting from the sun when you are wearing these. I think they provide great eye protection. Another huge, huge bonus is that the mirrored models that I've purchased have not done any of that weird spotting/fading thing that many of my other so called great buys have done. Many many months in and all the mirrors still have the same finish as when they arrived. Ok, I really, really love this brand of sunglasses, they are made exceptionally well and the case they come with is super gorgeous, plus there is the great cleaning cloth and the most wonderful thick glasses sack with a drawstring top to keep them in too.
