I also use the highest heat setting **Q: Is there warranty for this product?** A: Yes, a year I think **Q: Does the clamp heat up on the outside?** A: the whole clamp part heats up but the clip is plastic so does not heat up **Q: Which heat setting is best for fine hair?** A: I think is better is you try the lower temperatures first. I've got very thick hair and my hairdresser told me that the maximum safe temperature is 210. Higher temperatures damage the hair. I would think that thin hair is more docile? I don't really know. Overall very pleased with this product and great value for money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice curls but take some practice *by S***M on 4 September 2024* I had to actually order these curlers 3 times from Amazon, as the first 2 times looked like they had been used and was reluctant to order them again but finally they looked brand new! The curlers look very nice and sleek, and do not take very long to heat up. It comes with a heat mat and gloves, which is great because I tend to always burn my fingers. They are also easy to clean, with a damp cloth after the curlers have cooled down. I would definitely recommend practicing as it takes time to get the hand of it, especially if you haven't curled your hair before, but once you get the hand of it they create nice lose curls and give a bouncy blow dry look.
