As an avid athlete with a previous ACL reconstruction, I've tried a multitude of braces. That being said, the Zamst knee braces really stand out above the rest. The ZK-X is a hardcore brace, it doesn't have the same ROM as softer braces but that's not the point. If you want a brace after a recent injury or surgery that forces you to extend your knee instead of bend, then this is the right brace for you. If you plan on playing sports, I suggest starting with softer braces, especially in pivoting sports (tennis, bball, soccer). ***The brace runs small, get a size above for the right fit***

Did nothing. Did not help me with sports. Did not help me with pain. Did the help me walking . Basically did nothing.

Fit as expected and supports my knee better than the $130 dollar brace I bought from BraceAbility. It seems like it will last awhile and I'll probably buy again. That being said, I couldn't give it 5 stars because I think the price is a little high and the top strap needs to have way to be pulled tighter. The brace stays in place but definitely could use some design changes on that top strap.

I was looking for a supportive knee brace when I sprained my LCL and ACL. This is definitely it! Lots of support, no concerns with my knee turning or tweaking. Very pleased. Worth the price if you have an injury

This provides good support but I wanted to use for tennis and when I tried it out for the first time my knee started hurting. I immediately switched to my old Zamst ZK-7 model without the hinges and this did alleviated the pain that I experienced and was able to continue playing tennis that night.
