Kryptonite Upper Control Arm Kit For 2001-2010 Chevy GMC 2500HD 3500HD Pickup

I can't recall the last time if ever I have received any auto part that was as well packaged, comprehensively thought out and we'll documented as this. Quality from starter to finish and looks amazing. The install instructions are color, glossy, in english, printed on heavy stock that stands up to greasy hands and double sided single sheet for ease of use. No less thought was applied to any portion. The ball joints and bumpstops are quality pieces and easy to replace with parts that are readily available. The bushings are greasable poly with the zerk fittings. There's a place to attach the brake lines. The hardware is quality and all there and pre packaged. The. Packaging is high end with high density foam cut out to protect the parts. It was a pleasure to receive, open, and install. Pro tip, the flat sheet of foam on top of the parts was a great kneeling pad and place to lay when needed as well as a great place to set the new arms before installing. I had zero difficulty in installing them other than having one of the alignment pins loose which I had replacements on hand since this wasn't my first GM truck install and you want to be prepared for that. Also one of the pockets was slightly deformed which happens so don't be alarmed and be prepared if it fights you but this one only needed gentle persuasion but be prepared with a pry bar and hammer. Second tip the rear most camber bolt is easier to install with the arms just barely installed enough to see most of the bushing in the closest side of the slotted opening, a lady slipper or punch or I guess a screwdriver can be used on the inside to pry to get it lined up completely while pushing the bolt through with your other hand.

Came in quick, I painted them the day after I got them and Install went smoothly! Very satisfied with the quality and the way they ride. Bought a cheap front end rebuild kit two months ago and the upper ball joint sheared so I bought these and couldn’t be happier. Buy once cry once fellas!

Looks great, fits great, feels durable as heck! Ball joints could use a little more instruction, that's about it. Other then that its well worth the money!

Are they pricey? Yes. Are they worth it? Depends on what you consider worth it. If your saving money by doing it yourself, then absolutely go for it and spend the money. I like quality parts on my vehicle and Kryptonite is top notch. Fit amazing and look nice too. The ball joints are a huge selling point too. No pressing them in just bolts. Huge time save for next time. Installation wasn't too bad, I always freeze my bushings first. All in all worth the money you spend for the piece of mind.

These worked perfect for the truck. Everything went on just like it was suppose to and it was a great price. The control arms fit perfectly.

Overall very pleased. Only reason not 5 stars was these have no place to mount line for wheel sensor. I had to improvise with zip ties. Also picture shows green boots on ball joints. They actually arrive in black. Overall easy installation. Take time read directions. If truck is lifted take to a shop familiar with alignment on lifted trucks! Drove only a few miles but so far everything feels good. I put these on a 2002 cvevy 2500hd, with 6" lift running 38" super swampers. These arms look much better than moog and look well made. Definitely will be noticeable on your vehicle because they are obviously not OEM style when anyone looks at it.
