Female Tailors Dummy Cream Size 10/12 Dressmakers Fashion Students Mannequin Display Bust With A Light Wood Base

I’m a size 10 usually but this seemed smaller than my actual measurements so I padded it out underneath and put the cover back on so it’s exactly my size. I use it all the time when sewing, I wouldn’t be without it. There’s no way I’d even consider buying a more expensive one because this is perfect. It’s polystyrene and lightweight with a good quality cover on top. ( which is lighter than in the photo - nice light cream colour) I like that I can change the height and turn it round easily. The legs and top peg are decent quality pine wood and the legs are sturdy and easy to assemble. I’m so glad I bought it.

I think this is a wonderful, quality item. The problem is the packaging. When it arrived in a flimsy box, it hardly had any packing so there was a huge hole in the styrofoam and a big scrape below that. BUT it really is nice for the price. Y'all just need to get your shipping game in order! I'm going to order another one--these are perfect for market display :-)

Excellent item, but be aware it does require some self assembly. The body stocking is a tight fit so some care and thought on it's positioning before you start will be beneficial, though it is quite robust, so can take a surprising amount of tugging if repositioning is required. Each stand leg is fitted with a single nut into the vertical pole. This can be quite hard if you have big fingers like my partner. A small spanner will help with tightening these up. Once assembled, this is a great item. Lovely mannequin. Sturdy.

This tailors dummy was bought to display clothes being sold online (not professionally) The body is polystyrene (as expected) but the packaging just wasn’t enough to prevent damage in transit. Supplier replaced the first damaged body without any bother, the second arrived and was still a bit damaged but not enough to warrant another debate! Definitely lifts the selling game though!

I like how it has styrofoam so it’s so much easier to place pins on. However, when it comes to sturdiness the wooden legs aren’t really that suitable for it and it is easily able to be knocked over. I recommend this product to those who just want a mannequin to just drape already made clothes/garments for display rather than doing any practical stuff with it.
