Not many recipes at all. All the pictures are black and white and relatively poor quality. Just not as interesting or as detailed as I was hoping.The poor quality black and white photos do impact the rating a lot. I'm not Japanese and I don't know any of these recipes. In order for me to get interested in making any of these things, I now have to look up pictures of everything online just to get a better idea of what each recipe is making.I hate to be picky, especially over $10, but honestly, it isn't easy to enjoy this book at all.

To put it simple: This book is a rip-off!It contains simple recipes of uninspiring dishes, many of which are incorrectly presented even at first sight, using wrong ingredients.Also the recipes hardly (or not at all) relate to the attached images (All of them in really bad quality). The book’s list of desserts is anything but mouthwatering and can easily be found with google with better results regarding recipes. Those recipes would be a disappointment even for a toddler „cooking“ with grandparents on a rainy sunday afternoon.If you look for a book with great and delicious recipes for appetizing desserts and instructions to make them even look beautiful, this book is not for you!Even the print is cheap and ugly - this is not a coffeetable book.Anyone could publish a book like that. Really anyone.This book is the single most disappointing book order i have ever placed, and i mean it.Thanks to Amazon i had my money back the next day.

J’ai acheté ce livre pour apprendre les wagashi et en été decu. Le livre est mal imprimé et en noir en blanc. Les recettes très somaires et pas du tout visuels. J’ai retourné le livre car je peux trouver plus d’informations et de meilleure qualité en ligne.
