Works Great
I have a X3 InFocus projector which requires a M1 connection. I have had the VGA to M1 connection which has worked fine but it has had it's typical analog lines here and there. I just got this today and I can already see a big improvement in quality. I do sometimes (very minor!!!) see some pixelated areas on the screen for example with the green appropriate audiences slide for movie trailers. I think this is more due to the video since I haven't seen it on all the trailers I've watched off youtube (overall video quality is great besides this minor observance). Overall, it's a great product and would recommend it to anyone who is in need of a HDMI to M1 connection. Just a side note, it doesn't transfer audio. So if you wanted to send audio to your projector you will just need separate cables.

It worked
Worked on my inFocus projector. The only minor issue was that one of the securing threads was damaged.

Well worth the money.
I had never heard of an MD-1 connector until I was given free Hitachi projector. I wanted to hitch up a Blu-Ray player and game consoles to the unit so I searched for an adapter. I was happy to see there was all in one cable solutions. I have had good luck with Momoprice in the past so I gave this cable a try. It was very reasonably priced, feels well made and works perfectly.

this did not work for me. I have an older INFOCUS LP340b with an M1-DA computer cable. Monoprice people were quick to explain that theirs is M1-D but not DA. A friend finally pointed out that there are TWO ends to the cable. So I got an HDMI to VGA male to female adapter (Cable Matters 113046) The INFOCUS cable is connected to the projector then at the other end I attached the adapter to go from VGA to HDMI and it works great!!!

Exactly as described
I needed this to connect a hdmi device to an older hitachi projector with m1-d input. The cable functions as advertised and the picture quality was excellent when plugged into the HDMI of my HP laptop. As an fyi this cable did not work when the HDMI was plugged into a wireless hdmi receiver for screen mirroring, though this is an issue with my projector not the cable.

Wonderful HDCP solution for new iPad air & Itunes users
This cable worked perfectly to solve my projector dilemma. My inFocus only had one port with Hdcp permissions and it was the M1 port but the cable that came with the projector only went to VGA. Issue was the new IPad air 2 does not send out Hdcp signal through VGA so I could not watch my iTunes movies on the projector anymore. Plugged this cable in and 10 seconds later we were watching a family holiday movie from iTunes onto the projector! Saved me going through the hassle of selling ours and then trying to find another projector. Great product!

Great cables for a great price.
As always with " Mononprice" the cable was good quality and what I expected. I have ordered several cables from them, it's always the same, fast and exactly what I needed at a great price. The low price had me concerned at first, but once I received the items I saw that they where great. I got several odd adapters for my DLP Projector to make it be able to hook to anything.

We needed this cable for our old projector. There is no HDMI on the projector but there is an M1 connector. We now use this to connect our HDMI bluray player to the projector. Now we watch blurays, Netflix, youtube etc. The cable works great and the service was excellent! THANKS!! My only advice is to ensure that you know the difference between an M1 cable and a DVI cable. Similar looking but big difference. Christopher

This is great! Saved me from having to buy the expensive A/V module for my InFocus projector. Works well. To be clear this is the one you need to plug into the wonky DVI connector on devices like InFocus projectors and connect it to a standard HDMI output from your source. EG, I used mine to connect a Raspberry Pi running Kodi to my InFocus projector. Instant entertainment system.
