Weaver Livestock ProCool Sheep Blanket

Easy to put on and looked nice during prep for show and during display of lams while waiting for show.

This is our first year with a lamb. The blanket (and mesh) seem good quality and should last a couple of seasons.The only thing I'm not a fan of is the tie under the belly. I saw some other blankets that had a clip, and i heard those were "older" blankets. I wish mine had that clip (or I need to figure out how to install one myself). You need to make sure you tie your blanket securely so it doesn't come undone and the blanket get wrapped around your lamb. If you have a "spunky" lamb, it can be a little difficult to get it tied with way it comes with the two rings (instead of a clip.) Anyway, good light blanket, but, you may or may not struggle with securing it.The mesh butt is helpful for ewes.If you are in really cold weather, you will need a heavier blanket than this one.

Firstly, I believe this is a really well made, quality item to keep show sheep tidy in their pens. We purchased two for my son's 4-H market lamb projects. However...they do run really big. I purchased a large for our 160 lb. wether lamb, and he swam in it. I would absolutely size down. It works well enough and is slightly adjustable, but had I not been short on time before fair week, I would have sent it back and ordered a smaller size.

The jacket does a great job at keeping the lambs cool, but it does not keep the dust out very well. Went to a show and pulled the jacket off and realized that the lamb with the mesh jacket was dusty brown instead of white. Serves its purpose of keeping the lamb cool though. Other option is to water down the pens so that dust cant slip through the jacket and onto the wool.

Easy to wash and dry. Good quality and price. I previously had some custom made and these are better. I've bought 6 and ordering another six as they out grew them.

Ordered a small and a medium and when I received them they were both the same size, but one was marked wrong, are they supposed to be this close to size or am I correct on my therory. Otherwise I’m still happy with my purchase

Bought the wrong thing it was for sheep not goats and I was to late in returning it disappointing I couldn’t return my fault now I ended up with three sheep goats
