Great product for enhancing audio recording!!!
The features on this interface are extremely easy to figure out along with the setup. The noise level when recording is perfect along with its lightweight design. What I love is the fact that there are so many different inputs on this device. Overall, the number of features and sturdiness makes for a great product.

Perfect for my needs
I started taking vocal lessons recently and bought a kind of cheapo mic from a store in town. It was working okay until a software update completely screwed up my mic settings. The mic had a voice effects option, but I never used the option, hadn't wanted it, and only bought the mic because it was decently priced and pretty much the only one my store had in stock. I didn't think it would matter.Fast forward two months and following a software update, I started my online lesson and found my instructor was completely thrown because I sounded "weird" to him. After several attempts to figure out what was wrong (I wasn't hearing it on my end), I finally had to do my lesson via cell phone and only got 15 minutes' worth of instruction. When I went back and watched the Skype video recordings of our attempts to fix whatever he was hearing, I was absolutely mortified to hear that the update had very obviously applied a random voice effect and made me sound like a cartoon. I also couldn't get the effect turned OFF.That was the event that led me to buy a much better mic and audio interface. After doing a bit of research, I settled on the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd generation interface. I can only speak to how well this works on Skype for vocal lessons, but would imagine it's just as great with instruments and recording. As this was my first audio interface, I did have to ask the company a few questions. But their customer service is superb and I was able to easily set this up and use it pretty quickly. It's been working great and--best of all--I no longer have to worry about audio issues or having my voice unexpectedly start sounding like Yogi Bear to my instructor. The price was really great as well.

Great audio interface
My brother had bought this for his bass and he has no complaints. I have it for my e-drum, which doesn't require the inst, air, or 48V buttons, but it works perfectly well for me. It having a microphone output is convenient for my setup since it allows for me to hear my drumset and my computer simultaneously. In addition, having the focusite come with ableton and a whole bunch of paid plug-ins is a steal. I didn't ask for all this, but I'm loving it.

Great Purchase for the Price
Had the interface for about 2 months now and no issues. It replaced an Audient interface I had (can’t remember the model) that suddenly starting registering as a mouse on my PC and not an audio device. This Focusrite was $100 less and somehow sounds better. I’d definitely recommend!

Excellent Audio Quality, But Missing Casual Output Options
Great interface—audio quality is excellent. Personally, I think it’s a solid option at an accessible price point. The only thing I feel it's missing is a more common audio output for casual monitoring, like a 3.5mm headphone jack. It doesn’t have one, which could be inconvenient for some users.

Absolute blast of joy to my ears
Why did you pick this product vs others?:BAD A$$ LITTLE BOX! If you're not happy with how loud your headphones can get, then this little guy solves it. I use it to run an XLR mic and SHP 9500 headphones, and works flawlessly with OBS recording studio. Takes a bit of tedious work to get it all set up and the inputs/outputs correctly configured in the programs you'll be using. Imagine it works great for instruments also, but I have yet to plug my guitar into it yet. If it's too loud, you're too old!*Be aware if your headphones are 3.5mm, you'll need a 1/4" adapter. Can be found here or Best buy easily and for cheap.

Compact and Professional Sound Quality
The Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen is an excellent audio interface for home recording. It’s compact and easy to set up via USB, making it perfect for solo musicians and podcasters. The preamps are clean and provide clear, high-quality sound with very low latency. I’ve recorded vocals and guitar, and the clarity is impressive for the price range. The build feels solid and the software bundle is a nice bonus. If you want professional-level audio recording without a complicated setup, this is a great choice.
