I had to find drinkware that could stand up to getting knocked over on the hard quartz countertops. These look great and the edges are comfortable. Some plastic drinkware has a sharp edge on the rim.

The glasses themselves are great, very solid, well made, thick and very sturdy. The material is very clear and looks just like glass. My only nitpick with these glasses is that there is a pretty large cutout on the bottom that when placed upside down in the dishwasher holds a little puddle of water. Kind of a pain because it tends to spill on other dishes when removing them from the dishwasher. But if you're ok with that, then I highly recommend these!

We have had these cups (in both sizes) for over a year. We also live in FL where water is VERY hard. These cups have been put in the dishwasher for over a year and have zero scratches, water marks or cloudiness. They also look really nice and appear to be glass but are a very good quality thick plastic. LOVE THEM!

I have one real glass one and these are hard to tell apart from that. They look just like heavy glass.It is always a surprise that they are so light when I pick them up, but feel very solid , not cheap.They wash beautifully in the dishwasher. One reviewer was unhappy with the dip in the base that allows water to collect after removing them, but this is minor.So far no scratches. I even dropped one with no effect. They are very durable and I am enjoying them immensely.

Looks like glass ... works well. Does not look cheap . I had them now a few weeks we do use them a lot . You can’t tell on wear and tear . No scratches .finally the dishwasher didn’t turn them into old plastic . Very clear ! My daughter in law dropped one of these glasses on the floor , from the kitchen island to my tile . Did not break or crack . Worth every Penney ...

I love these glasses. I bought the large size which holds a twelve ounce drink with ice cubes. The glasses are attractive and much lighter than their glass counterparts. They are easy for my arthritic hands to hold and non-breakable which is perfect for my young granddaughters. Plus they are very attractive and won't slip from one's hand as the glass ones can do.
