I tried many times to "wean off" the medication by reducing dosage, as recommended by my doctor, but each time the acid came back so severely that I thought my esophogus would erode completely away - so I went back on it, even though I knew it caused all kinds of problems for me. Then I read about Aloecure and tried it twice a day in AM after breakfast and bedtime. Went off Prevacid cold turkey at the same time. Also supplemented with baking soda for acid symptoms in mid day as needed, and slept on wedge shape cushion to elevate my head avoid backwash at night. Also avoided eating or drinking after 6 PM. It worked! Within 5 days I was off Prevacid completely and no longer using baking soda. Still taking Aloecure at night, avoiding food or drink after 7 PM, and elevating my head in bed, just in case. Maybe I'll try eliminating some of those other crutches -- but not yet. I'm just happy to think I can avoid the B-12 deficiency, high blood pressure, bone loss, anxiety, hoarseness, chronic cough, sore throat, huge medication costs, and other effects of Prevacid and/or acid reflux. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Aloe cure is the best! *by P***R on December 3, 2011* Have bought ALOE Cure 2 times now from Amazon,and The first 4 bottles,helped me a lot.I was trying to get off Prevacid, which I had took for 16 year.I still had the burning some after the 4 bottles ,so I bought another 4 bottles,after I had taken just a little from the first bottle,I noticed that my burning stomach wasnt burning any longer.I am now completely off Prevacid...if I feel the burn coming back I just take a few swallows of the Aloe Cure,or just take a Maalox,and its gone..AloeCure® Grape 4 bottle pack.
