GtechniqEXO V5 Crystal Hydrophobic, Dirt Repellent Coating for Cars, Easy to Apply - 30ml (Sufficient for 1 Small-Med Car) - 18-24 Month Protection

Purchased the techniq CSL(the non professional ceramic with shorter life span of 5 rather than 10 years. I applied 1 coat csl and 2 coats of EXOv5, and I actually applied 3 coats to my hood. Apply ceramic as directed, wait 2hrs at least then you can apply EXOv5, wait for it to flash, buffing and polish and then you can put a 2d coat right on top of that without wanting. My car looks great, the first car wash or rain will be the test. Amazingly easy to use but it would suggest buying extra applicator pads if they sell them. Buy the bug bottle so you can put two coats on it. I have a 17 subaru legacy and I coated everything twice and my hood 3x but I did not do my front end as I'd like to repaint it with all the rock chips but I have more than enough to do it twice. Great DIY job and I saved myself at least $1000+ by using this. You can also add coats later to add more protection to CSL coat without too much trouble

I love this ceramic coating. I use it on my customers vehicles that don't want a warranty.

I had a car coated with V4 and Crystal Serum Light before I became comfortable with applying these products myself. Now I apply these products by myself and would never considered hiring someone to follow the process. I consider myself a DIY intermediate. I have no problem cleaning, compounding, polishing, and applying products . These products work. Initially I did not like these products as they seemed to leave a greasy film even after washing. Over time I have grown to really appreciate getechniq. Exo V5 is an even better product than V4 and is especially more hydrophobic. While it wont keep your vehicle clean. It certainly helps make cleaning easier. Sometimes a simple foam cleaner followed by a wash off leaves the vehicle looking amazing. I love the hydrophobic properties of EXO V5 and the product has been show to be durable and long lasting. If applied correctly you will not be disappointed.

Still beads up water 2-1/2 years later.

I installed this over Crystal Serum Light on a 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance. It definitely looked nice. The car was washed, coated, polished prior to application, panel wiped twice and coated with Crystal Serum Light followed by EXO 5 an hour later.Ultimately I don’t feel like it enhanced the gloss much but I expected the protection to be worth the effort.Water beading was pretty good but didn’t roll off like I expected.After some research I polished the car and tried Gyeon mohs Q2 Syncro Evo.The result was astonishing. Absolutely no comparison. Way better gloss. Insane water beading and sheeting to the point that I’ve driven in the rain and arrived after the storm had ended. When I stepped out of the car it was dry. Beyond impressed.

After full detail including paint correction I applied the CSL and followed up the next day with Exo v4. Wow. Just wow. I've used TONS of ceramic spray solutions and was just amazed by the technology. This is just taking that to the next level!I applied like a month or so ago and its still incredible. Ended up doing my girlfriend's car with a competitor product and will get to see them side by side in the elements.

I purchased EXO after doing some searching and I was impressed by the feedback I was seeing. So purchased the EXO and Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (CSL). I applied two coats of the CSL and topped it with a coating of the EXO. I am very pleased with results of the shine and slickness. the application of both products was very straight forward and easy to do. I did make sure I used two microfiber towels for the product removal one to remove the excess material and second to buff and remove any final residue.

Amazing product!!!! Applied it in 2022 and till this day of 2024, it holds is properties. But it’s time for exov5! Gtechniq is the product to have and good for its price!
